Rewards for Arcade Races

Sometimes I like to build by own race in Arcade mode (Nordschleife at night in the rain anyone?). However, after spending 20-30 minutes on a race I feel like it would have been nice to also earn credits for the effort. It is annoying that in order to gain credits toward buying the many $20M cars that I have to race the championship races instead of making my own challenges.
