RFactor Drift Championship

RFactor Drift Championship will host 8 events every season. All participants must sign up before being allowed into the lobby, there will be no qualifying. First 16 to join will be put into the bracket for that round. Points will be allocated based on drivers position in that round. Points are all totaled up and will be used to determine your position at the end of the season. Participants will be judged by a panel of 3 judges and whichever person the judges or majority of judges votes through wins that tandem run.

Room will open at 3PM GMT+1, this will allow drivers to join the room and practice for around 30 minutes before while the brackets are constructed and everything else has been finalized and structured.

Judging:
Points will be awarded for the following:

Line:
The line is that, which is shown in the video below for that round. Going of line to try and overtake or to pull away from the opponent will be held against you and will be reflected in the judging of the duel.

Angle:
Maintaining a constant speed and having a high amount of angle will be more reward able then say, a high speed and low angle and vice versa.

Overall:
This is a combination of both the two criteria's above and also the proximity that one is able to lengthen/shorten depending on if they are following or leading. Proximity to clipping points and walls will also be included in the overall impression on the judges.

Dont's:
Colliding with the lead car will be held against you, if it causes the lead car to lose control you will lose that run. Minor love taps will not affect your score.
Spinning out or having to reinitiate a drift will result in you been given a 0 for that run.
Passing is only acceptable if the lead vehicle goes of line or has to re initiate. If attempting an overtake it is important that you pass safely and it doesn't affect your drift as you do. (E.G. Having to reinitate after overtaking.)

Points will be awarded at the end of each round and will be as follows:
1ST: 100 Points
2ND: 087 Points
3RD: 075 Points
4TH: 065 Points
5-8: 58 Points
8-16 50 Points

Requirements:
Project D 2.3.1

SP Mod its in development atm, we are trying to make the most realistic & reliable mod we can.

PD mod is insanely unrealistic & is pron to crashing a lot

Mine works fine and I have a realistic tyre mod that makes if feel close to what CM's were on GT5

Oh Ryan's tire's... they are ok but that have some problems, though even if you use those tires with a PD mod car it still won't be realistic because of the cars physic's,

It feels pretty solid to me, a matter of personal preference I guess.
