rFactor vs real at the Ring in a Zr1 video

Heya,

Excuse the poor quality; I'll do a proper version some day. No tricks; just a replay and the youtube of the Jim Mero 7:26 lap started at the same time. No stretching or anything going on; I wouldn't have the movie editing skills! :)

It looks very similar most of the time, if I'd cheat and 'correct' a few bits it would be even better but I'm not a fan of that; this is a 1:1 overlay.

Sound lags about 4 seconds at the end, really pretty poor.. Still, impressive imo, will post a better link when a better version is done! :)

would you say that the ring in rfactor (2.2?) is better than the ring in nfs shift and other games? I've never been to the nurburgring.

I've had the most fun driving the one in rFactor. Will we see the Zr1 before we see the Opel/saturn Astra?
 
The one I'm driving is the GTR evo version, which seems more accurate than the rfactor 2.2 version. However, lots of cambers are slightly off, and some are more considerably off and of course a few sections aren't quite as accurate as they could be.

Its the best version I've seen though, but I haven't got NFS Shift, can't say if thats any good/better!
