Ricer Option?

Hello Gtplanet and all individuals alike,
I come to you today as a proud ricer, I was wondering why gt5 doesn't have the "add a sticker" option so i could increase my cars horsepower or the loud sound systems i could install in the car?? And why don't they have any of my favourite horrible body kits ? I love ferraris and all..but i was wondering why i cant put the ferrari doors on my civic? If Gt5 had the option to rice my vehicle.. i would rice away. all this game is missing is the rice option.. other than that its an amazing game.

Ricer - Someone who makes a slow car look like a race car with either fake parts, improperly installed parts, or just stickers for parts they don't have. Or the wrong badging, trying to look like a faster example of a car. Then (and this is most important) they have the attitude that their fake race car is faster than anything else.


Ferrari doors on your civic? I don't even see how that would work in real life 0_o

It took em 6 years to develop GT5 and imho GT5 is still missing a lot of 'basic' stuff needed for a good racing sim. I'd rather they spend more time on those basic essential things than make stickers of extra large bumpers for cars.

For instance: a much better data-analyser so I can actually see/calculate what my ride height, camber and toe settings should be without guessing.

Also, I'd rather have a better filtering system for online games.
Or more tracks. Spa Francorchamps, Road America etc etc..

Also, put in support got G25 and G27 wheel.

Also, give more missions/licenses/challenges from level 24-40 so people don;t have to grind.

Kaz shouldn;t put time in stickers, Kaz should put time in making GT5 much more of a true racing game. If you want stickers there are many other games like eehmm.. the Need For Speed series I think?

What exactly are 'Ferrari-doors' anyway?

I know suicide doors (the doors that open 'the wrong way' so they open at the front not at the back, and I know Gullwing doors that open up, and I know Lambo doors that shift forewards a bit then rotate 90° so they are pointing down.
I even know of doors sliding under the car when they open.

But what is a 'Ferrari door' ?

Wait.. you mean he's asking us why he can;t put a Ferrari door onto his Civic?
As in: unscrew the Ferrari door from his Ferrari then use Ductape to mend it to his Ferrari?

I was thinking 'Ferrari-door' was some special kind of door, you know like the wing-doors...
 
I see what you mean, and no, the doors on most Ferraris will open just like your normal family sedan. I'm sure there are a couple exceptions, but most of them are normal.

I'm just disappointed thats all, i bought this game with high hopes of adding amazing stickers to my car to increase its horsepower.. but sadly you can't do that. 6 years of development and they didnt cater to ricers like me. I am truly sad. One day they will come out with a game with a wide variety of stickers. and hopefully a wide variety of body kits. =(
 
They did, years ago. Need for Speed Most Wanted. It has stickers and NOS out the wazoo. Have fun, my friend.
 
Closed, as a reminder to all members - it's not what you're looking for PD to add to GT, it's how you put that desire across. Flame-baiting isn't the best method.

Oh, and well, there's also dozens of threads that have covered car customization in the past.
