Hey guys, I'm just testing the output of PowerDirector in an awesome video, full of car crashes in Rigs of Rods! It's an awesome game where it demonstrates soft-body physics and the impact they have on cars etc.

A great sandbox game!

 
Seen other clips on u tube wow theres some good crash physics there


Just been to there site seems theres a whole lot more this sim can do planes helicopter etc

couldnt hit the download button fast enough
 
Yeah, Brian Beckman is a famous guy in the Game Industry and car physics.

Very interesting reading, also very technical.
I read a lot of his paper to help me develop my own car simulation.

For the video, even if the graphics and sounds of the car are poor, the physics in itself is genius.

Very rare to see good car crash physics in game.
 
Always interesting the hole this fills in the racing genre,manufacturer restrictions to damage is becoming a drag,cars crash in real life, stubbornness like this hurts us gamers.stunning work this.
 
BeamNG is actually made by the same people who made Rigs of Rods. :)
