I Recently (Today) Was Asked By My Graphic Arts Teacher If I Could Mix Together Two Versions Of A Song Because I Am Apparently A Music Man At My School (I've Made Like 2 Techno Tracks And There, I Guess, Good According To My Peers).

But Anyways I Need To Mix The Vocals From The New Version Of A Song With The Old One's Beat & Vocals.

I Have Access To Sony's Acid At My Schools Animation Lab, And Nero's Soundtrax/WaveEditor & Fruity Loops 5 At Home. If Someone Could Point Me In The Right Direction OF Ripping Vocals And Beats From Wav/Mp3 Files Etc. I Would Be, Er... Happy I Guess.

Yeah.

But I Dont Want To Get Another Program.
I Already Have Access To 3 Advanced Sound Editing Programs, I Want To How To Rip Vocals With Those Programs As I Use Them Alot.

It depends on the song itself how successfully you will be able to take the vocals out. You can filter out the frequencies outside the vocal's main band, you should be able to do this using Acid or Wavelab if you have the right vst/dx plugins. This isnt particularly effective in most cases though. Try going to http://www.elevayta.com/ and download Extra boy, this has several processes that get rid of things like stereo information (the vocal is normally only central) and other parts outside of the vocal range. It should work as a plugin in Acid with any luck!

If this doesn't work, you could always look for an acapella site and see if they have your song, but that is a bit of a long shot.

Just out of interest, what song are you using?
