hotlap arcade mode spotty

I'm not going to be a NAZI when it comes to 100% clean, but definately NO wall touches and i will allow any hard area of track to be used with two wheels touching (paved areas etc......). One area just after sector 2 there is a concrete area on the right that you can cut over, i'd like to encourage all drivers not to use this shortcut and stick to the ripples for this section though. Cheers.

Always enjoyed certain genres of cars more than others, and while some complain about the sheer number of RX7’s, GTR’s, NSX’s, and WRX’s and such in the Gran Turismo game series …… I say there is not enough!

But I’d like to see more of every type of car type to be perfectly honest (why PD don’t put early model rotaries into the GT game is beyond me). Anyways, I am just going to throw the door open for a little spotty for those who have the time and the interest. Got a handful of cars that I just personally like in real life for you to pick from in CLASS 1, and another separate CLASS 2 that is a for those LeMans cars in the GT garage. Some are obviously faster than others, and the dates of make are spread far and wide. Simply jump in a car that you like and take that mutha out onto the track and give it what for. Revving the thumping Quad Rotor engine is what is going to be the most enjoyable thing for me in CLASS 2. Gunna pitch my Mazda 787B onto the course and see what the ole girl can do against some older and newer race bodied rivals that some of you may bring. Have you got a favorite LeMans style car that you are keen to test out?. And CLASS 1 has a couple of cars I’m keen to run some more. I’ve already had a session of laps with similar cars (as done for testing for a previous LAN) and enjoyed this type of car/track combo.

You can run in both classes with muliple cars (up to three per class) if you like. No pressure but keep it clean and have some fun. I’m all for swapping replays and chasing ghosts, so swap and ask away. Gunna enjoy seeing what road car comes out as the main gun in CLASS 1, and what pumped up purpose built racecar can claim top dog status in CLASS 2. As I said earlier, you can run up to three cars in each class if that’s what you want (or you can just run one car in one class). Time permitting is the name of the game. Keep your wheels clean with no cutting corners .

NO Top Speed adjustments for any car in either class.

Ran a couple of CLASS 1 cars and although totally different they provided a close match so far. The little high revving renesis RX8 felt just that bit more nimble than the thumping Typhoon with its 4000cc turbo six cylinder.

RX8 (class 1)
1'27.590 (25.686/56.791)

Typhoon (class 1)
1'27.813 (25.789/57.099)

And manged to sneak the big 787B onto the track and am closing in on a sub one minute.

Mazda 787B (class 2)
1'00.191 (17.499/39.047)

I improved my times a wee bit for the Typhoon and RX8.

RX8 (CLASS 1)
1'27.408 (26.013/56.841)

FPV Typhoon (CLASS 1)
1'27.526 (26.313/57.425)

EDIT - LEADERBOARD updated

NWS77 (my brother in law)
Supra RZ (CLASS 1) - 1'26.126 (25.353/56.120)
RX8 Type S (CLASS 1) - 1'26.674 (25.326/56.159)

And for me ...
Rypien
RX8 Type S (CLASS 1) - 1'26.451 (25.852/56.283)

Looking at the sectors i have alot of improvement in the RX8 at the start compared to Nigel. Gunna have a wee break from CLASS 1 and do some more laps in my CLASS 2 787B.

Onya fellas
LEADERBOARD UPDATED

Lots of updates as a new leader hits the track in the super quick NSX. But the mid pack is getting interesting as a few different makes of car battle in CLASS 1.

Anyone here going to have a crack?

Guess not. I'll keep updating the leaderboard for now though.

Well technically im from here.....

Its a nice race 👍

;) . Kinda a GTP 1-2 in CLASS 1 for now 👍

I also took note of this spotty right off, but haven't had time to do anything about it until just now. Hate to be a jonny come late to the party, but I am rather partial to a couple LMP's in Class 2 that I just got done flogging thru the forest. What a RUSH!

Audi R8 '01
56.707 (16.294, 37.027)
Not bad for only 783HP I think. :)

Minolta Toyota 88C-V '89
54.858 (15.817, 35.869)
Couldn't quite pull off the perfect lap with this beast! Lost .3 in the first sector. Was seeing 15.5's regularly but it is very hard to put it all together in one lap.

Fun spotty Rypien! 👍 I wish I had more time to devote to it. I kinda had my eye on the Evo and WRX in Class 1.

Here are the replays if verification is desired. :)

Looks like you have some good runs there mate 👍 . Slipping in behind holl01 in the Minolta and having a your Audi right up there as well.

Been running the CLASS 1 cars a bit more myself, but the CLASS 2 are certainly a handful on this track.

LEADERBOARD UPDATED

Thats just about it lads. Time to clean up the pits and head on home.

CLASS 1 saw the NSX's dominate. The car just felt really good at this track and was a clear cut winner for Honda as a manufacturer. holl01, Small_Fryz and Prancing Horse filled the podium. Holl01's time was simply alien-like once again. Small_Fryz also had the best non-Honda time with the RX7.

CLASS 2 saw the Minoltas take a 1,2,3. holl01, MinorShunt and Slowpoke behind the respective wheels. MinorShunt had a 4th place also with an Audi.

All in all i had a great time running this with you guys. I hope you all had a good time with these cars and track combo. As a LAN car testing database, i think i've got some good info on cars performance in relation to others.

congrats to holl01 for his CLASS clean sweep, and to all the guys who took the time to run.

cheers
