That has to be the most bizarre thing I've ever seen on a road.

At least they were lucky enough to make it across the opposite lanes without being hit by any oncoming traffic.

Indeed.

Was something being trapped underneath it to cause it though? It takes a lot of pressure to move concrete like that.

Not that I'm away of, I think the road just gave out from the extreme heat we've been having in the states lately. It's not the first one to do this.

Wisconsin's roads are almost entirely concrete like that, and they get pretty rough from what I remember from driving to Oshkosh in a Jeep. It's also been STUPID hot in the midwest, so, yeah, it wouldnt' take much expansion to cause a buckle like that.

It's only going t get hotter. Most of the roads around here hold up well in the heat, but we get the occassional crack as does everyone else.

Woah, that's insane. I have no idea how the driver didn't see that coming up. I also have no idea how someone can't tell they're filming a video when the phone is right infront of them.

Worst camera holder.

Guy in the SUV got lucky though, so much worse possibilities could ensue from such a bump.

ill let ya know if it does since i live in Oshkosh
However we are getting nearly 30 or more miles of new highway.
Its been in the near 90 here for a few days but its also humid so that might help prevent that acually idk. Also to cause somthing like that id have to put some blame on the roads foundation.
Wish the dham camera man would of caught the rest of it better.

This. It looked like a pretty serious lump, and it was even signposted... makes me wonder if the driver tried it on purpose, or whether they were just monumentally dumb.
