Road Car Vs Race Cars

There are many different opinions on what people what in the next game. But one I have noticed is different views on the types of cars people want to see. More Road cars or more Race cars. I personally would like more race cars as they are more fun to drive.

i vote road cars as there more fun to drive as race cars are for people who cant drive viehcles (sp) properly on racing games. In other words racing cars should be banned for using steriods and other enhancing drugs

road cars are boring and slow in gt 3 the tracks in gt3 are all designed with race cars in mind as they are to wide and fast. trying to get the best lap times posible from a race car is harder then a road car. And a lot more fun.

I AGREE. IT MUCH MORE FUN TO MAKE YOUR OWN RACE CARS THAN TO JUST RACE THE ONES THEY GIVE YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY HAVE 1 COLOUR SCHEME WHILST THE ONES YOU MAKE YOURSELVES OUT OF ROAD CARS CAN BE GIVEN A VARIETY OF COLOUR SCHEMES. AM I RIGHT?

And you can give the road cars all the upgrades,whilst inthe race cars you can only upgrade the horsepower.

Then we would have to play with hp/tyres/fuel/engine resctrictions from series to series... that would be so cool

Yep.I think PD has done all it can, so all we have to do is sit back and wait for the release of this kick-ass game!!

Think I'd prefer 70/30 proportion of road cars to race cars more as it was in GT1

& I think race cars should only be unlocked for purchase later in the game rather than being given imo. That way you have a garage you've truely earned & developed.

Great idea T5-R, I agree with you that you should have to earn the race cars and not be able to go straight for them near the begining of the game.

Or race cars are only for the endurance races, since in real life they run like 50 lap races anyways.

the only problem is ther are only 5 cars to race against and the ai is crap anyway so it would be boring. I think race cars should start at 5 laps.
