Yes, I've actually used an Ion drum kit frame, (with the poles and everything) for a cockpit for my DFP. I have no pics, but it is so simple. The wheel doesn't like to stay in position vertically, because the poles are circular. I'm using it right now, and it feels so natural.

Sweet, now I'm going to go 22 and 3 on CoD with my DFGT.

You realize I'm meant the frame, right?

Whatever you meant, it's always good to see everyone's creativity to mount their wheels. There was a topic a few months ago where we all posted the craziest places/ways to mount a wheel, people came up with some crazy stuff. Ironing boards, laptop mounts, chairs, you name it.

Before the RB frame, I was using a stepladder, of all things.

Did you fall off?

Tried mounting a plate on it and then clamping the wheel on that? Though it is a good idea for a stand.

This setup is great, 'cause I like to adjust my wheel for certain races.
