For almost five years exact, Virtual Reality Racing has specialized in competitive online racing, ranging from Super GT, IndyCar, Le Mans-style racing, and touring cars. But as VRR's participants continue to evolve, we've decided to do something bold to evolve with it. For the first time ever, VRR is doing something that is not racing, but more importantly, it is not exclusive to PlayStation 4 players. We've decided to do a competitive championship around Rocket League! A maximum of 12 teams will be able to build teams of 3 to compete against each other every week. Each game will be uploaded to VRR's YouTube Channel, in addition to being able to follow the league's championship table, as well as player based awards such as VPL MVP, Golden Bumper, Best Goalie, and Assist Tank throughout the season. While the full rulebook is being composed, VRR has compiled a potential list of FAQs for those that may be interested.

Q: Why Rocket League?
A: For 4 years, 11 months, and counting, VRR has always been exclusive to racing. Entertainment and competition through motorsports has long been our motto. But, we're quickly approaching 5 years old as an organization, and at some point a refresh is needed. Rocket League has always been something several in the community have wanted to do, and now feels like the time to jump on it.

Q: How does this affect VRR's other projects?
A: It won't. VRR will continue to host a variety of championships on GT Sport in addition to VPL activities.

Q: VPL won't be exclusive to PlayStation 4? How will that work?
A: Rocket League implemented a RocketID system in January to allow players from different platforms to add each other as friends through that feature. Players from PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 are able to now play together with no restrictions, which is something we are keen on using to its fullest.

Q: Why is the league limited to 12 teams?
A: 12 is the number of different standard stadiums in Rocket League, and we are enforcing 1 team per stadium.

Q: How popular is this within VRR?
A: As of 10:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time, on 03 November 2019, there are 7 teams, and 24 total players entered into VPL. We will be seeking teams as we approach appropriate player intervals to ensure we have full teams.

Q: What is the VPL Draft?
A: The VPL Draft will take place on 08 December 2019, where the team principals of the teams in the league will select the players they want on their teams. To assist teams in selecting players based on certain qualities, scouting matches will be taking place at varying intervals between now and the day of the Draft.

Q: Do players have to be a part of the Draft to participate?
A: Yes. For fairness to all of the teams involved, all players participating must be registered into the VPL Draft for selection.

Q: How will the matches be played?
A: Each regular season match will be composed of two 5 minute games, which we'll call halves. The total score from both halves will determine wins, draws, and losses.

Q: How long will it take for the full rulebook to be posted?
A: I plan on adding to it on a daily basis until it is completed, as soon as possible is the only time frame I can give at the present moment, no later than two weeks.

TBD

First three sections of the rulebook have been amended. Next up is the VPL Draft and Player Trade Systems.

Hey, guys. I want to advise something to players who want to join this Virtual Premier League. First of all, you need to have a high rank, if you are not skilled enough, you can try watching some videos on Youtube about this game, maybe you will be able to understand some complex mechanics. Also, you need to have some items they will help you to win more often. If you don't have them, you can buy them in steam market, but it's better to purchase them from trading sites, prices there are usually more affordable, you can find them on the Internet if to speak about me I found out this trading site for Rocket League items when I was googling something about them. I've never had any issues with it so you won't have any problems too.
