Hi, you all know me, in a good way or a bad way.
I hope in a good way.
Anyway, as I dont have GT4 or photoshop, but have recently downloaded GIMP and found it is rather cool, I shall proceed to post some of my edits here.
Tell me what you think, and please, PLEASE give me advice.

My Eclipse, my first photo editing job unless you count randomly blurring cars for the blurred car thread, or messing things up in paint (also my creative comp week 1 entry):

Another one, tried to imitate an old movie shot or old picture, but its not that good...:indiff: hopefully Ill get better.



Another new one: Toyota Celica rally car, some snow/ice course.

The sun shines brightly on my amateur photo editing future...;)
 
What kind of advice are you looking for? I mean, if you're just messing with filters you get what you get. You sort of need a direction or style that you're trying to replicate--a specific look you want--before you can say if it's good or bad. All those pictures so far only have one filter on them and no point. A filter only comes out one way, there's no good or bad about it. You need to try some normal photos before you start editing stuff.
 
As I said, I dont have GT4, and Im looking for advice such as tutorials on how to use different filters to create different effects.
And they all have at least 1 filter and 1 effect, average of 2 filters and 3 effects.
I just got photoshop so I can try to make things like widebodies and graphics now.
Except I cant really without any help. So help and advice, tips, please people!
 
I'm not big with photochopping pictures, but I can tell you that you should be asking questions. "How do I do this" or "how do I do that." It's hard to just throw info at somebody without know ing what kind of info you want. Sounds likeyou may want to know how to draw different parts onto a car. You might also want to know how to atke an already existing picture, cut pieces out of it, and graft them into the game picture. PM somebody and ask, since nobody's coming in here but me. Revolution is really goo with PSing, I don't know who else.

pretty nice start man.. i can see that GIMP and JASC animation shop have almost identical features.. :)

and that carriage looks cool..like a stained glass art.. 👍
 
Thanks. It was an oil painting, but I hadnt figured out the whatchamicallit function to get rid of all of the weird birght colors.
I did on the Celica.
Anyway... can anyone tell me how to change a car color or make bodykits or lower it etc?
I may do some of those later this week as Suzq gave me a tutorial site:)

I recently got photoshop so i can do a little more.
There really just filters and a few effects though.
Ill try some body kits and color changes later when I get good enough.

First thing that isnt just a filter and an effect. On the Eclipse, I tried an AIRBRUSH! W00t!

 
Nice idea with the Eclipse!! Suttle, but a nice little edit!!! Keep pounding away at them pics 👍!!!!
 
Here is a tip, try to not use the basic filters as much as you have before. But the last shot in the lastest update is a big improvement over the other shots.
 
Updates are coming. Not GOOD updates, but updates.
All they really are is a few filters and airbrushing in lights, as I dunno how to do much else on the crap TRIAL version of PhotShop.
 
I just realized how to airbrush in lights better, by layering more colors.
So later ones should be marginally better.
 
btw yes the Camaro DOES suck, yes that 'Ferarri' is really a Firebird, and yes that Ram belongs in the ugliest mods. Come to think of it, so does the Firerarri/Ferabird
