Ok, this came up in the chat last night and I never got a definitive answer of what it actually meant. We were on the Daytona Road 750PP Pro track. Was Chad just pulling our leg and in a faster car or is this some technique that we all need to learn to improve?

Share the wealth guys so we all get more competitive. :sly:

...what?

I've never heard of "rolling the center" before in my life. Knowing him, he might've just been messing with you.

That is SOOOOOOOO wrong!

ok i know what roll center is but that refers to SUV's and trucks and there roll over point. im going to guess he means the same thing though of something along those lines. basicly be smooth in your weight transfer into the corner to allow more stability and speed. basicly be smooth dont just jerk the wheel hard into to the corner. OR he could just be pulling your leg and he just dont want to tell you what his setup was.

Could it have something to do with the Duke's of Hazard?

If you search for "rolling the center" with quotes in google, this thread is the second result. It's pretty safe to say it's not a real term.

Yes but, rolling the center, as far as I can tell, is not a real term. Not to mention roll center is not technique that you can use to go faster.

I think Chad's gonna have a laugh when he sees this thread...

He was havin a really good time with it last night so why not dedicate a thread to it. ;)

Basically, he told slicecom he'd never be as fast as him on Daytona Road until he learned to roll the center - it all got out of control after that. :)

Omg

You guys aready know what it is, you just don't know it for that term. Let me do some research and get some pictures and I will post again. :)
