George A Romero's famous trilogy is being aired on terrestrial here next week, and I'm a Romero Virgin. I'm told he's an excellent director who puts a lot of satire into his work. What should I be looking out for?
Theres a lot of subtle stuff in his films, loads of gore but some satire thrown in too. Just enjoy the movies. Oh and lookout for a Hells angel in the shopping mall (second film) having his intestines pulled out while he's a live, jolly stuff.
I have the trilogy on DVDs, and I really liked them(obviously). I also liked the remake of the "Dawn of the Dead", but did not like the "fourth" Romero. I think it was called the "Land of the Dead". Huge dissapointment. 👎
