So I'm playing a lot of ROM emulated games at work these days, for NES. There was a game I used to play on my cousin's Sega called Chop Lifter that I've found for the NES emulator. Who knew? I thought it was Sega only. Anyway, I remember it being stupid hard on Sega, and you know what? It's stupid hard on NES too. Has anyone beat the first level? There are so many ground based missile sites that I can barely rescue any people.

I've never played the game, but I download roms like crazy sometimes. They are pretty fun and sometimes bring back memories, Like Chrono Trigger.

I'm pretty sure Chop lifter was an early example of a multiformat game. I had it on the C64 I think.

I used to have a gameboy emulator on my palm, although I mainly used it to play Mario Land and tetris. A while back I also had FF1 for the nes for those slow times at work.

I usually play Snes roms (Are they illegal?)

And Chrono Trigger is definately a classic... I wish they bring it to gba...

And Tales of Phantasia was a great game on the snes... It is out for gba in Japan but why won't they bring it here!! I want to play it on my sp...

And Sword of Mana 3... The best in the series... After this game the series went kaput.... I was hoping the gba one was its port but sadly it was a new game that was mediocre than anything....

I wopuld love to replay the first Turtles game on the NES. It was the first game I purchased and will forever live in my heart. I didn't even complete it as the last level was too hard, has anyone managed to finish this game?

Choplifter. Used to play it on my friends Atari 520 ST a lot of years ago. And yes, I remember it being difficult.

Actually I think a certain amout of it is legal. The emulators are legal. Some of the ROMS are legal. But there are certain ones who's copyright is still in effect. There are games, however, that are 20+ years old and the copyright was only for 10 or so years so they've been legal for a long time. You just can't sell them for profit, but free distribution is ok, or something. I don't really know.

Ok then I guess it is legal.

One thing I wanted was the Mega Man series, but then they made it even better by offering it as a Playstation 2 package. I have to tell you, it's pretty amazing.
