Rooting Bluestacks

Hey everyone,

First things first, sorry if I've put this in the wrong category! I'm totally new to the forums.

Anyway, onto the question...

So I want to root Bluestacks, but I'm not sure what the best way is. I currently have an unrooted version of Bluestacks (on windows 8.1). Everywhere that I've seen recommends just downloading a pre rooted version. Now normally I would just do that, but first I have to get rid of the unrooted one, right? How do I do that? Unless I'm missing something, there's no big shiny uninstall button :p

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Firmdra :)

What is bluestacks.
I just found google mentioning about it allows you to run android apps on windows by emulating andr'oid.
I dont see why you need a rooted one, unless your trying to bypass their subscription service which no one here will do

Yeah, bluestacks is an Android Emulator, runs on PC.

I got it for the GT6 Track Editor, seeing as though I don't have an Android or an ipad I have to use it on PC.

PR1VATEJ0KER 's track path editor (which takes away heaps of the limitations) needs the .bin file of the track to work. And the only way to get the .bin file is to root the Bluestacks.
