Hey guys I just got my driving force gt and I am Unsatisfied with the rotation (900 degrees) dose anyone know anything on how to lower it's rotation??? And if so can you give me detailed instructions on how to lower it?? (I play gt5 if that makes a difference)

It depends, we need more information.

If you're on the PC, simply open the profiler and slide the Degrees of Rotation bar.

If you're on the PS3 you can't change it.

Yes I low it would make it more sensitive but right now I need to turn the wheel almost 100% to get it to "drift" and then I wreck because I have the wheel turned completely so it wrecks if I made it more sensitive I wouldn't need to turn as much and be able to get my wheel straight so much more quickly

Well I'm not sure if you can change the steering lock on DFGT but I'm sure you can change the sensitivity of a controller in GT5 in the race settings.

Also you might want to change the car setup as this might improve the performance.

You just need more practice and do not worry about the wheel, just enjoy. But of course do not use too much force.

There's some information in the GT5 drifting sub-forum you might like to take a look at, but if I recall correctly it essentially says 'practice', just as the last three posters here have said. This is the post I'm talking about: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5570071#post5570071.

I've had some pretty big issues getting to grips with going sideways using my new(ish) G27, and my advice to you is simple; accept the fact that you can't drift things as powerful as you used to, setups will likely need to change (I never actually set up my cars in the past, to be fair I still don't now but I imagine some diff tuning will help) and... Well, practice.

I tried to drift my KPGC10 which was fully upgraded when I first got my wheel and just couldn't work out how to get a decent angle (or indeed initiate the drift) and hold on to it like I used to. I tried for maybe an hour, but in the end I took the stage 3 turbo off and tried it with around 200bhp, which was far, far more successful. I don't know what sorts of cars you're trying to drift but maybe try some un-upgraded S13s or something with an LSD and comfort hards. If you're trying to drift the Blitz ER34 or something of that caliber, then I suggest you tone it down and work your way up again.
