This is 1.) a test to see if mere mortals can start a new tread

and 2.) a place to start discussing the round three race that just ended.

Well I had time to run last night. I did two 10lap races with a 'Stock' escudo (didn't change the settings). I don't remember what I had last race and set up for the Escudo, but the gear ratio was right, so I left it alone.

I took off well skipping off the slow cars in the first straight, Clocked a decent first lap
Clean 2nd lap
elegant spin through the first tunnel on 3rd lap (didn't loose too much time)
Clean 4th lap
Clean 5th
Caught some inhibiting lapped traffic through the home stretch at the end of the 6th beginning of 7th lap
Clean 8th
Clean 9th
Caught a little more 2lapped traffic and lost a little concentration on 10th lap.

That's about how that went.

I'm not posting times on purpose, it might not be allowed before results are compiled.

Any other stories?

the Speed12 could dethrone the Escudo. However this project may take some time to develop. :p

Good luck holding the back end down.

I really don't like driving the Escudo, but it's so damn fast you can't help but drive it. (Like shopping at Fry's Electronics).

It was a last minute effort to get a time in and I didn't have time to research different cars of different classes. So I kenw this one would be competetive.

I've got a car I like lined up for GT1, we'll see how competitive it is.

Time to research the others.

yea, the rear end is the issue. Tires helps but the secret is hidden in the suspension?
