Round 8-5 gold not registering.

G'day All,

I finally managed to get under the gold time for round 8-5 (1:35:739) and I got the "you won the gold trophy" announcement at the end, but it doesn't show that I received the trophy itself. The gold trophy is still greyed out and, in the list of all my trophies for all the rounds, it only shows silver for 8-5.

This is the second time I made it under the gold time but still it doesn't register and, as luck would have it, my steering wheel broke just after I made it so I can't keep trying. :-(

Has anyone else had this problem (other than the broken wheel)?

Update: I managed to fix the wheel strong enough to have some more tries, and third time seems lucky. The Gold shows up and I got the prize car at the end.

Well I had a surprise this morning. I golded all round 8 last night, but this morning no times appear on my friends list and I cannot access my best time in the rankings. But, I have all golds.

Re-run round 8 and in each case, my old best times show at the 'end-screen' but my new time (that was initially slower) has become the ranking.

Wierd, and I hope this was a one-off. Luckily I just did golds to open up all the rounds so no hot-laps were lost.
 
I just set my second gold time on 8-5 and all of a sudden there's a silver cup sitting there. The odd thing is that my time under "Friend Rankings" is sub 1:36.000, AND I have both gold run replays saved.

Edit: I just completed a third gold medal lap and the gold trophy is back. It didn't say that I had the prizes like it did the first time though. It just said: "You have won gold."

My game froze while loading 8-4, and I had to manually restart. The game failed to load my most recent save, so even though I had won gold for 8-1 - 8-3, I had to do them again before I could attempt 8-4. EDIT: I forgot to add that my original gold winning times for those rounds were still displayed.

I too noticed that the medal showing for 8-5 is silver, even though I've won gold 4-5 times and the gold winning time is shown as my best time.

Same here. All my times are "missing", but I've got golds. When I re-do the event, I can see the old time, but my new time takes it's place.


Kind of annoying
 
:cry:.got a 1.35xxx,,said i got gold ,,yipee i thought.not so as silver still sits there,,
tried it again ,,got a 1.35xxx..game frozen ,,,

all is good now ..did it third time ,best time ..lol..
