When doing practice on Special Stage Route X, sometimes the road dissapears so it looks like my car is floating. I am still confined to the track, but I can't see any of the guard rails either.

This has happened a couple of times now, once as soon as I started practice, the other after a couple of laps.

Is this a glitch or is there something wrong with my game data?

It's just lag in PS3's video card, once you've turned it off and back on it will be gone, if it does persist u might want to consider some kind of cooling device before it overheats.. That's what my Xbox did right before crashing, since I bought a new ps3 and xbox though I went to Walmart and bought simple, cheat "laptop" cooling pads. They're about 15-30$ US, but it has kept a 3 year old Xbox running and a 4yr old "fat" ps3 running!

Whatever you do, do not buy the intercooler devices from Gamestop that you clip on to the PS3 from the outside. Ironically it can sometimes cause the system to overheat rather than cool down.

I think cause it block air flow and blow the air into the system that why I'm using the other guy advice and that seems to work better

My solution cost me £0.20, I just took a 4 stacks of 5 1 pence coins and glued them together and popped under each corner of the PS3. This seems to work a treat as it increases the gap between the PS3 and the unit it is standing on which helps the air circulate. The PS3 used to get quite hot and now it doesn't. I do however wish I had splashed out and used stacks of 2 pence coins as they are considerably wider meaning I'd have to be less careful when dusting the area.
