Route X Too big for only 16 people?

It is a massive 30 kilometer track with amazing views and detail. It's very fun to drive on. but do you think this is too big for online play?

I mean there are only 16 people spread out over a 30 kilometer track...that's roughly estimated to be 2 kilometers per person. plus if they group together there's all this empty space that no one is using! It's not that i'm saying that it shouldn't be allowed online; it's just that it kind of bothers me a bit ('cause i'm OCD like that).

So what do you think? Is route X too big for a small number of people? Why or why not?
 
I agree almost totally. Maybe they could bump up the number of people online on R-X to something like 24-32.
 
I don't follow your logic. The 24 hour layout of the Nürburgring is not much shorter than Special Stage Route X and it has worked fine with just 16 players so far.

probably tihs. 30 kilometers to an american sounds like a long distance :lol:

I agree as well; If the 16 players were to follow as one large pack, then the race would go on. Besides, why does it matter if some of the track isn't used at one paticular moment? You will cross every point of the track given you do at least one lap:dunce:
 
Route X works well for what it is, a test track. Maybe if you get out of the VW 1200 '66 it might seem shorter :lol:
 
I think it's already built into the game that you cannot have more than 16 on any track at a time. Nice idea, but probably will never happen.

10 people at 320MPH around the turns is scary enough.. you never know when some one is going to do something stupid.
 
Exactly. I think this track is of a good scale for Heavily-modded Group-C, LMP, Formula, and the X201_ cars.
