Don't buy Mad Catz's wireless Lynx 900 Mhz controller if you want to play Auto Modellista. I just destroyed one of mine by hurling it at a wall in frustration. Here's the story: Every 5-10 min, the damn things (both of em do it) stop working, requiring you to go up and unplug and replug them. Anyway, after spending hours on that god awful mountain championship, i had finally gotten straight wins , and was in the lead, rounding the LAST CORNER on akagi, when the dammed thing crapped out. So, now it's in peices. It wasn't the first time it had happenned, but it was the last straw.
 
can we all say Anger Management??? I knew you could. and you would still have your controller, so you could send it back to the manufacturer for a new one. But I will take you advice, and stay away from that controller.

This is all I read, and all I had to read. Never buy anything from Madcatz or Pelican. Always go with first party peripherals unless you see quality names like Logitech or Saitek. (And beware those too when it comes to console equipment.)
 
I agree with Tom on this one, any third party peripheral I have ever bought, has never performed as well as the first party peripheals that I have ever had, the only third party peripheal, I have ever been satisfied with was one of those compressed memory cards with 12 times them memory of the regular ones, and even that didn't work as well, as a normal memory card, (it would delete files, or they would be corrupted if I didn't use them for 6 months) I was just happy that I didn't have to worry about buy a new one anytime soon.
 
well i have to disagree with yall on this. i have the mad catz 900 mhz controller and i also have the original ps2 controller. well i have had my controller for about 2 years now and i wrap the cord around it. the ps2 controller always goes out like ever 30-40 secs but only for this game and the mad cats controller never goes out.
