rseat evo and 80/20 tube

I was looking at my options on how to mount fanatec clubsport shifter to my RSEAT EVO v3 and was wodnering if anyone has or knows if using 80/20 tubing can work with the rseat v3?

Im not sure of 80/20s dimensions, but wondering what other peoples thought was (if anyone has tried it) to use 80/20 tube instead of the shifter telescopic tube that the rseat comes with.
this also opens up additional ideas for myself on how to "expand" my rig if that is possible to further mount other stuff.

Thoughts? thanks!

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I just made myself a triple monitor mount last week with the stuff. The stuff is great(expensive) and you can do almost anything with the stuff. I originally started with the 80/20 thinking I could save some money, but in the end cost about as much as buying one, but this one is way more adjustable than anything I could of bought and no matter what monitors I upgrade to eventually this mount will fit them. Do some checking on the internet and try the 80/20 site for some ideas. The 80/20 site is where I decided on what parts I would need then spent a few days trying to figure out why my design wouldn't work. After that I was pretty confident I had a plan that would work and it worked out perfect.

rather than trying to build a new rig out of 80/20 im trying to expand my rseat with 80/20.
I dont see why not either, but wanted to check my bases in case im overlooking something.

I do need to find out the dimensions of the 80/20 to see if they would fit into the RSeat evo's tubing and provide enough force to hold the 80/20 in place
