Three years ago I bought a Rseat frame (from Rseat) for $250, put a Corbeau FX1 Wide seat (I'm 6-2, 225), and have been very happy with the results. Had to alter frame (easy) to accept wide seat, but otherwise the seat mounting holes lined up. A slider would be a different story. $125 seems like a great price. Don't forget the shifter and Buttkicker for total immersion in cockpit view. P.S. just checked the price of my seat and it went up by $100!

I am getting Corbeau FX1 myself for RSeat RS1. What kind of alteration have you done to your frame to accept this seat? Does it not fit within 450mm max mounting width?

No problem with the message. My rSeat frame was for an rSeat EVO which looks alot different in the frame department than your RS1. One thing to note is that my seat is a FX1 wide which needed some frame mods. A regular seat would have bolted right in. If your seat is also wide, frame will require surgery of some kind. Not seeing it in person makes it tough to make a call. I slotted a few holes, added some spacers, and flip flopped my seat brackets. Good luck on your project. If your RS1, (which is sharp by the way) is anything like my EVO you are in for years of comfortable racing. Happy driving. Not sure if message went through so I posted here to.
