Hi,

I subscribe to the GTPlanet News RSS feed and have done for a couple of years now. I find it very useful.

In the last 12 months the GT Academy guys have done incredibly well in the competition and in many different race series, even at Le Mans! An incredible achievement I am sure you'll agree.

However...while I do enjoy hearing the stories about the competitors racing achievements, we're almost reaching a point with the news feed where there is more GT Academy and real life racing news than there is information and updates about the game. If I look at the news feed now, 12 of the last 25 news posts are regarding real life racing, or competitors in the GT Academy competition.

I'm not requesting that this be toned down - it's great stuff and really interesting. But would it be possible to filter or "tag" the news, and as a result provide a reduced RSS Feed which contained solely game related updates - ideally this would include the Seasonal Event information.

I'm a big motorsport fan, but with all the other websites and blogs that I follow on F1, WRC, BTCC and GT etc, I really like to come to GTPlanet for my Gran Turismo news!

Thanks for listening,

John

We do tag the GT Academy and Motorsport stories - with GT Academy and Motorsport tags.

Alternatively, if I'm the author, it's GT Academy or Motorsports

There is no way to exclude categories from the main RSS feed, but you can subscribe to an individual category's feed.

If you're using a browser with RSS feed auto-discovery, the links to these category feeds will be displayed. If not, you can access them directly by simply appending /feed to the end of the category's URL. For example, to subscribe to the Gran Turismo 6 category, just point your RSS reader to:

https://www.gtplanet.net/category/gran-turismo-6/feed/

You can see a list of all the available categories here.
