- vertex shaders triangle setup speed up
- pixel shaders MADD speed up - devs dissect this:

- Found the translations! TSAA and TMAA = Transparency antialiasing, multisampling or supersampling.
- suspect 16x FSAA in SLI mode.
- normal map compression that R420 first introduced.
- faster Z-buffer (whatever?)
- UltraShadow II. Supposed to be 2x performance of Nv40. Demo

Look at the amazing AA

Looking at those specs i can't stop wondering where ATi pulled those numbers from. I'm referring to the benchmark test they did with 3Dmark '05. They don't have any advantage compared to the G70 except for the Unified Shader Architechture and that can't make such a big difference i think.

Me lazy, am I right in thinking that the two pics are a comparison between the xbox 360 and PS3...........if that it what it is then im not suprised that one console is slightly worse.....

No they arn't the PS3 and XB360, the RSX isn't finished yet anyway, so how anyone has one to get the full performance specs from is beyond me.
