OK I got a 1000+ bhp car the GT ONE toyota, its fast but when I just hold the X (or rubberband whatever) it goes like 220(kph) around the walls and then when the turn ends it comes out and goes left and sometimes goes in the pit by it self or spins....its screwing me up!! Someoen please help this sux lol, I raced the 100 laps actually racing took me 1 hour and 20mins on my Mustang SVT R. Laped 2nd place only 2 laps.....well now I need the mONEY :) Someoen plz let me know how you do it, cause my car just goes nuts - here is a little pic to show what i mean:

Yes, I've done it. What kinds of tired you got equipped on the beauty? Well.. the ugly actually.. I really don't like the way the GT One looks. Anyways...

Try to tune it to where the car understeers, this way, it will be harder to turn. Therefore, won't spin our as much. Sorry, I can't give you translations yet. My dad thought the copy (not a copy, the real thing) of Gran Turismo I had was a rented game. So he returned it to Blockbuster. LOL

Now I have to go pick it up :(

You need to hold the joystick to the right a little.
I use a toothpick, Use a flat toothpick and wedge it on the side of the joystick so the car turns to the right alittle.  I heard of other people using tape also.

Good luck.

I used a second rubberband to get the right analog stick to point right. I just rubberbanded the right, and left analog sticks. It works, and I did it like 12 times

Since I'm maried with children I had to perform this trick to get enough cash to enjoy the game without giving up my life completely...

If you want to do it hard core (like for a day or two or heck go all week long bro) change your controller settings so that vibration is OFF so your tape and joystick don't get knocked around.

The other thing I prefer is to set the acceleration to the R2 button because it's easier to tape down for extended periods of time.

Then I do the standard ruberband between both analog joysticks so as to turn just a little to the Right. This method will keep you from being forced into the pits...

The great thing about this setup is after you win your race you can leave the rubberband and tape in place and just use the D button to get around the menus and use the X button as normal.

Fresh off a win I go get a carwash and an Oil change so as not to sieze the engine then I do a quick save and then it's off to the Rubberband-Race again...

Oh ya and the car I use is of course the Pikes Peak.

For the settings I run it low, stiff, and with NO downforce. Use one set of HARD racing tires for the entire race (obviously because I'm not even watching the race so how could I pit... Aeh).

Also I use the Stage 3 Turbo instead of the Stage 4 in hopes the car will last longer. It only looses about a second or two a lap anyway. I usually get a lap time of around 34 to 36 seconds when the rubberband is just right.

Anyway I hope these few minutes of writing this will help others get some sleep and have a life too...

You will have to use a 4WD car! It works great for me.
Also, decrease the track and stability control level to ZERO.
Change the controller settings to:
Steer:  1st o (Analog) right
Accelerate 2nd o left
So they will face each other.

I just have a little something I said to the other guy thatw anted to cheat.  Why cheat and get this great game over quicker?  I dont know about you but I love doing endurance races

I LOVE endu races but personally i think going around acircle for 1 hour is LAME -- the other ones are good cause they have twists and ****......thanks for the tips!

PS I cant find a ****ing rubber band!! WHAT THE **** lol

I believe that even though cheating is immoral, this has an excuse. Someone said that superspeedway is boring because its a circle and requires no skill. Then why waste time on something that requires no skill. Others say that its wasting money because buying the game is only done when someone expects to play it honestly and learn the skill of driving due to the life like simulation of racing cars. Again, if there is no skill involved, then there is no skill to be learned. I have been one of the most uptight people when it comes to cheating ever since I got a ps2. In my opinion, I did not shell out 300 bucks, and another 50 on a game that supposedly was well crafted even though I missed the last two of the series. I bought this game hands down expecting everything I heard about it and more. For once I received money to buy cars and tune them up realisticly instead of having secret super fast cars that could only be unlocked after racing stupid levels. I received everything I expected and more when I bought this game and I played it to the fullest. If some people enjoy cheating ang playing super hard levels with super fast cars that were dishonestly earned then let them.

Could someone sen da pic of what the controller is supposed to look like?? and also.. in response to holger im not exactley sure what u mean with the analog sticks if left analog is set to right to steer then which way does the cra move ??
