This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

You could say that the prices are... through the RUF.60 Euro for a tshirt, 160 euro for a soft shell. I think the idea is good but the prices are nuts.
Yeah.Hopefully we can see some more RUFs in the game. It looks like it was a good time for those who were there
Make it green and I’m for it. Might make it before the Cayenne.
World is flat.A little RUF porn for everyone, from an ice racing event held locally 3 weeks ago.

It would be a blast to throw the bird around the Ring!Great!
Sooooooo... are we getting Yellowbird back? It's probably the most glaring omission to me. I can make a sort of replica with a 964 and the 959 engine, but it isn't the real thing.
I'd say only at a glance. For me, I'd be very surprised if we didn't get more RUF models at some point after this event, including that iconic CTR. Uhm.. ok. You’re just guessing though, aren’t you? My point is that Polyphony more than any other racing game developer (or game developer full stop) tries to make a point out of completely nothing. It’s sad.I'd say only at a glance. For me, I'd be very surprised if we didn't get more RUF models at some point after this event, including that iconic CTR. Maybe we could even get the CTR2 for the full CTR lineup!
Two important vehicles in our history sitting side-by-side, the RUF NATO and RUF CTR.
The NATO served as a development vehicle and test bed for the then-upcoming BTR, which went on to win our first “World’s Fastest Car” title in 1984. It allowed us to experiment with turbochargers, engines, transmissions and suspension designs, with power figures of over 400 hp from its turbo 3.3-liter flat-six running through a 5-speed transmission. Its dark olive matte paint scheme kept it low profile.
The Blossom Yellow CTR, on the other hand, requires no introduction
