Ruf Btr '86 Challenge

In gran turismo mode jump in a Ruf BTR '86.
Modify it to the max apart from a LSD. Use R5 tyres.
Turn off the ASM but leave the TCS on 3.
Goto Suzuka full circuit and try to beat my time of 1:49.834. No corner cutting !

Its brilliant fun once you've mastered its handling.
 
That was an awesome lap, nice job! Mind sharing your settings? I've got my BTR tuned ok but I'm not sure I could match your time. I'll have to give it a shot this weekend. I haven't put an aftermarket wing on mine, does that help much? Looks a little strange. Couldn't tell from the video but is the stock whale tail still on there too? I like the look of the factory wing but might let that slide if it's really effective.

yep, the wing does help alot. Yes, the wing sits on the stock wing :D

That times VERY beatable btw. I aint posted it to show off, I did have a moment where I went of track so its not legit. I'll try again tomorrow.
 
I did a 1'48.957, im not happy with this time but thought i'd post it anyway, there is probably a good couple of seconds left out there somewhere.

Are we allowed to use NOS?

Nice one 👍 ~Yep, its definately possible to go quicker, Fine tuning the suspension's not so easy though. Its a very fine line between loosing it and getting the most out from the car. Great fun though.

Anyway, you've given me a reason to try again,:)
 
Finally ran a few laps last night but only managed a 2:02 lap. I need to memorize the track better, I keep slowing too early or too late to make smooth corners and loosing time.

Well done there mate, I'll have another go soon. Still trying to get 5:39 around the burg in the Bmw Gtr atm.
