RUF CTR2 '96

Both lay down nearly identical lap times at Suzuka Circuit.

2:15.587 - CTR2
2:15.629 - CTR

The CTR2 is easier to manage due to having 4WD, but the original "Yellow Bird" handles extremely well for having a RR layout. Doesn't hurt that it's 500 lbs lighter! It's hard to pick a clear winner here.

The CTR2 can reach 400kph

I also tested the RUF RGT '00 and it's just 2 tenths faster than the CTR2.

Amazing how 3 RUF cars are within 3 tenths of each other at Suzuka.

The RUF 3400S and BTR are in the 2:18-2:19 range.

I love reading your Suzuka Track Test threads, @SuzukaStar - keep it up! I own all the RUF cars in GT6 with the exception of the 3400S for now. As much as I enjoy driving those deathtraps and respect RUF as a company, reading this thread just reminds me about how much I hate not having Porsche included in Gran Turismo. I know all about the EA licensing so no one has to tell me about that. I get it. It just stinks and I want to be able to drive a proper 911 GT3 RS!!:mad::irked::(

Man, I remember in GT5 when I spent all my time lapping cars at Suzuka like you. Good times.

Not surprised the cars are so similar in terms of performance, but it's too bad the CTR2 is so dreadful to drive. I swear that thing spins the front tires before the rears.
