Hi Guys! I'm trying to find out how well I rank as GT3 racer. The F090/s in the F1 series has been beating me up, so I decided to wait a bit and try again later. I had time earlier today to rzace this and take notes. Didn't have a chance until now to post it.

So how did I do with this? I took a RUF RGT from the dealership to the PD cup. Didn't stop at Jiffy Lub or the Tire Store. I turned ASM & TCS to zero. And didn't have time for Qualifying either.

Oops! :O Hehehe...Trial Mtn 2 (the First race!)

I was barely in front of the Elise after my last pit stop on lap#16 (+0.158 seconds) :D Then he pitted on lap #18. This gave me a Niiice long difference to second place.

I won it by 39.266 seconds, and the Nissan Z took second place. My fastest clean lap (according to Boombexus' rules) was a 1'34.229. My total time 33'08.991.

Can anyone tell me how good (Bad?) I did?

Thanks! :D

You can start by helping us out by saying which race it is hehe :p

You should check out Racing-Line or perhaps GT3 times websites, find a track you like, and see how your times stack up. Instant feedback on how you drive.;) Welcome to GTP:D

Racing-Line

GT3 Times

WOW!
Over at GT3times there are guys waaaay faster than I am. I should retry with different tires and an oil change, because I'm 2 1/2 minutes out from Max E. but only a minute off of rikki.

This car is so much fun to drive. I'll have to try back again later.

had a go at the PD cup challenge on GT3 times (KOTS4 Tuscan at rome II) didn't manage a clean enough race to submit a time :(

Should be able to complete the twenty laps in the RGT when fitted with T2 tyres with out a stop ;)

The RGT also has an adjustable rear wing giving it an additional setup parameter :)

the wing is key. and yes, t2's with no stops is the way to go. also, if you run at less than maximum hp WITH oil change, you have no chance of competing for top spots.

best of luck on whomever tries to take this one away. i will warn you though, i love this record and i'll protect it.

I 'd love to be able to knock you off that spot, but You're abit better of a driver than I.

The RGT is a fab car, and I'll turn a few more laps in it before I'm through. Thanks for giving me a spot to aim for Max E. :O

:D

:D Max E. I needed something to cheer me up :) . Life sucked a big fat one today :( so I tried again at the PD cup.

I feel much better now since I took your advice. :D

:O 31'11.564  I'm only a few seconds off the third place at GT3times.

I wouldn't submit this replay though, because I did more than brush a wall a few times :banghead: I only had a few off tracks screw ups though. I bet that I could bump a third place spot over there 👍 . Not bad for a lady if I do say so. :D

Thanks for the advice 👍

Hello, and welcome to the GTP. One way I can think of to solve your predicament would be to gild the lisence tests (if you've done so already, do it again), and if that doesn't help, then sign up for the Official GTP Weekly OLR Series (I can't believe I'm promoting this; or the insane sense of Deja Vu I'm having right now :odd:). It's helped my racing alot, considdering that my qualifying time was towards the end of the beginner division. BTW, I'm just curious, are you male or female (with a name like Ellegance it's pretty obvious, but you can never know...:odd:)?

(P.S. maybe you should run the F094/s on the FGT series, it accelerates quicker and handles better than anything in the game)

Yes, Jpec07 I am a lady racer.

I've been playing GT3 since I bought it for my boyfriend almost a year ago. He didn't enjoy it, but I do. :D So I kept it 👍

I just sent in my time to Boombexus last week. I was pretty happy with my lap time and then I saw where I placed

I hope to have enough time to practice and get better. Life is always too busy.

The post I made about the F090/s was about losing at the Test course. I can't keep up with the F094 there:banghead: . I'm pretty confident that I can win the series, but I'll probably lose at Tokyo and Test Course :(

Thanks for pointing me to the weekly series! :trouble:

Hey! good to see another lady racer around for once :D  I got hooked to GT3 2 years ago, not looked at another game since :D You'll like it here, it's a cool place 👍

How fast can you drive the fully modded RGT at Midfield in free run? I like that car too! :trouble:

My Mother wanted me to be a girl. I'm still traumatised.

I pity your mother T, I really do :(

Well, another lady racer here at the GTP forums (I kinda figured you were a lady, seeing as how I don't know of too many guy dancers). Enjoy your stay (I think I said that already...:odd:) and I look forward to competing against you in the weekly competitions :)👍
Also, I have a tip for the courses with really long straightaways. Try changing the gears a little (raise the Auto Setting a little). This will reduce the car's accelerating performance, but it will raise the max speed; and that's where you can win the race...

Hey Lotus! I've watched you hand out silver platters for other racers to sit their butts on and it's been fun! 👍

I really have trouble controlling high horsepower cars. :( Over 600 hp and my reactions are too slow, and I get flustered. :( Tried running it with TCS = 3 and ASM = 1 to keep the car from sliding, but that made it understeer coming out of a corner. :irked:

My best last night around midfield was 1'01.5something  From looking at Racing-line, I'm not running that fast. If I drop it to Stage 3 turbo, I can run almost as fast. (I think).

Lotus350, I picked GT3 up when I bought it for my boyfriend. He didn't play it, and I like fast cars. Kinda got addicting after that. Now he's gone and GT3 is still here. :D

Jpec, I qualified in the weekly race with a 1'24.774. :p That means I've got a lot to learn. 👍

I think my score was about the same as that, but I'm not sure. anyway, I'm glad to see that I will have at least some competition this week. Over the past couple weeks I've either been winning by wide margins or by default... (last week the exception to that rule...)
