Yah thats a good idea to have paneltys to turn off and stuff. but for the online races there should just be differnt survers some with the penaltys and rules and some just regular so poeple can just do what they want. Another thing i think they should add in gt4 is a way to paint your car a differnt color after you by it in the car wash and oil change place. also in the races on simulation the cars shouldent all be stock all the time because it makes it to easy or at least have some stock races and then others modifide.

The penalty should be there all the time, all it will do is stop people ramming another player off the track, the chaning your cars colour after you buy it is a good choice, but I don't know what you mean about having all stock cars, there is only one cup in GT3 with stock cars only, and the AI rarely uses an untuned car in the other cups.

i believe you probably aren't tuning your car for your races....you can tune your cars for various races....althought they look stock, it's what's under the hood that counts (and the rest of the car, of course)
