Running into a small problem

xbox is a joke
So as soon as I got GT5 I changed the button layout and made R3 to pull up the menu where you can change TC, ABS, ASM, front and rear brakes, etc etc

but recently idk why it's not letting me change any of the settings.
Has anyone ran into this problem and have a fix for it?
 
You assigned the up/down, left/right buttons aswell? You can't just set it to R3 and navigate with the analog stick, I personally have the menu to show up with the square button and I navigate it with the D-Pad.
 
yup, I have R3 pull it up and the D-pad goes right/left/down/up

but recently all the options are grey (meaning you can't toggle them around)
like when driving my Ferrari Enzo. I know for a fact an Enzo has Traction Controller lol, but idk why it's not letting me adjust it

Did you try this online? I know that while you are online you have to adjust such options before you enter the race.

I was actually in Practice Mode.


I'll go back and look into my settings, this game has changed my settings 2 times now (I set my personal BGM for the main menu, but after a week it keeps deleting them and resetting the BGM to the ****** elevator music)



and nah I actually found it on a different forum, FerrariChat.com :)

Interesting, I've heard that if you clear the cache, these small problems might be fixed, have you tried any other cars? If these don't help try to reset your controller maping and assign the buttons again.If that doesnt help, then I don't know what it could be.

that wouldn't mess up my game would it? If I cleared that cache that is.


and wow, everytime I go on that website I get motivated to hopefully owning a Ferrari myself.
I'm a huge Ferrari fan. It's just that I don't know where to start to be able to own something like that!

Just do a search before, because I don't know exactly how you do it.
 
@ CoolCol what car did you try it on? I'll do it again just to be safe.
and did you do it on Practice Mode?

alright so I just checked again
and everything is lighted up on my Gallardo (4WDtq, ABS, front/reat brakes) basically everything you can adjust EXCEPT for TC and ASM
