I have been racing for about a year using multiple IDs in house and have been creating better versions of the single player sim for my own use. Mostly rule changes to make things more difficult.

First a technical question . Recently (last two months) I have encountered unrequested braking. That is.. the car brakes before I want to. While I love to win this is NOT fun. All driver aids are off. In a previous life I enjoyed racing in the SCCA with a Formula Ford so I really know when the computer is "helping" me...and I want it to go away!

Or is it a wheel/controller problem. I have a driving force

Is this a glitch/bug or is there a way to un-dumb my PS3 to allow VERY high difficulty racing. I also have Forza and it really is MUCH more realistic physics wise because of this Bug/Glitch, but I prefer GT5.

Crash
Above is my USAF Nom de guerre and was earned during combat in SEA. I try NOT to crash!

And.. this is tuning related how..?

Regardless, there is no aid that will make your car brake before you want it to, the only time it does something even vaguely similar to this is if traction control is on or if you drive on dirt and that's just limiting the accelerator input.

It's your controller or some other similar issue.

The thread name shouldn't be your name silly... not gonna get any help that way!

ANyways, if you have a wheel/pedal setup, i know of some of my friends who had 'sticky pedal' i.e. the pedal might have had some junk, bad sensor, old sensor... etc preventing the brake pedal from reaching 100% off. Might be worth a check :)

No problem Daisey. I know it's in German, watch and make sure you do what he does. The gear has moved up or down on the brake (Look at the 2 WHITE GEARS,there is 2 Black TEETH that is what is messed up). Make sure you brace the pedals or you will have parts everywhere.Clean all of the dog hair cat hair and what ever else accumulates in there out with tweezers. Some white lithium grease will help to lube the gears also.
