That video was great! My favorite part was when the driver of the Corvette was like, " Uuuuuhhhh.....ok." after that RX7 just pulled away!

dang, that RX7 is helluva fast. it was like the vette was nothing... well, it had nitrous, so it was really nothing

I wouldn't call a c5 vette nothing. Stock is 350 horsepower with 375 lb ft of torque....with minor bolt ons and nitrous its over 500 horse power....and if you calla car with over 500 horsepower nothing...then you must have a car that pulls like no other! must be fun

How do you know the Vette had Nitrous?

you can hear the vette spraying it.....it gets really loud then all quiet again...and it was also stated in the movie that the c5 had a 125 shot of nitrous

The Vette definately had nitrous. When my old FD had minor mod's, catback/fmic/boost-controller/power FC/ and a slipping clutch, I raced two different C5's, one stock and one with intake/exhaust. I murdered them both.

The RX7 in the video has a race ported motor, and the second largest turbo GReddy makes. Even though the boost was set low at 1.1 bar, the car still would of been making between 450-500 flywheel hp+; more if he was on race gas. That means the Corvette wouldn't of stayed next to the RX7 for the few seconds that it did if it didn't have nitrous.

Your on the east coast, Rotary's are a dime a dozen there. I know of a few people with T78's in NJ that would probably race you. What's your setup?
