RX-7 LM no lights?

Just bought the RX-7 LM Race Car from the used dealership and found out it does not have any lights! :dunce:
Took it to the Nordschleife for a few practice laps and when the sun went down I had to quit because it got just too dark and I couldn't see the street anymore.

What the.... it does have 8 headlights. Its a LM car. But no lights? Seriously?
I love driving the Ring at night but can't do it with this car.. :grumpy:

they look like lights to me, pretty tiny ones :)
i think every car has trouble in the dark at the nurburgring, race line on is one option
 
Well, it has 8 lights but they're completely useless driving in the dark. I have no problems racing a 63' corvette at night around the ring without any driving aids, but driving the RX7 in the dark is like the FGT. No lights at all - impossible.

I think its a bug.
 
yeah happend to me to Whit another GTrace car (not fgt or lmp) cant remember.

Online just waiting for race start ...
Ok the start of the race , all cars in front and back .
Untill suddenly i was first after battling 2 cars and noticed everything going dark the more i left them behind
Epic Fail ! :) just impossible to race.

One of the headlights was a air intake and the other one fake. (noticed that after the incident)
Unlike your car looks like it should light up :p

Just a question, what is an "LM" car? Sorry if its a dumb question.

An LM car is a Le Mans car. Granted the RX-7 LM is one of the concept racers PD put in, but it should still have headlights because Le Mans is ran at night too.
 
the rx-7 had headlights that come on at night, however they do not illuminate at all over any part of the track

PD should totally fix this light problem . Golf V lights are totally useless in dark so are older Viper ones . I think that Audi R8 has the best lights in the game .

I'm a little little past halfway done the 24 hour Le Mans in A-spec, driving a Formula GT... I feel your pain :(

Actually the Golf V lights are not useless. The high beam is way too high, on the 'ring at night it will only illuminate the upper half of the trees beside the track. However the low beam is positioned where the high beam should be, so if you use low beam you will be fine.

They should fix it trough an update though.
 
I think the lights only work if the race has begun in the dark.
Also, as it's a standard car (from GT4), you can't toggle the lights on/off
 
Nope, just tried the car on the ssr5 and theres no lights. Also no brake lights. Frustrating, hop PD gets that fixed in the next patch. :indiff:

i wouldnt count on it. if they havent fixed it by now, i doubt it will get fixed anytime soon
