That's the only difference I've noticed...and the fact that you can only buy the RZ in white...but you can win it in other colours, I have a yellow one.
The RZ's stock suspension is slightly better, too. Once you replace the suspension with the race pieces, there is virtually no difference between the two. Certainly not enough to justify the difference in price.
That's really odd because Mazda touted the RZ pretty hard. It had its own website and everything. I think it has racing seats and better dash instrumentation as well. I just expected it to perform 5 to 10 percent better. Oh well.
I think, it's more of a quirk of my driving style. With the cars tuned exactly the same. I tend to be a few tenths faster in the RS. Guess it's easier for me to concentrate in the more luxurious of the two cars.
