S-8! HELP!!!! PLEASE!!! i'll do anytyhing!!!!!!!

help! :mad: ok guys, u people that have already gotten your S licence, i need your help. I dont know how you did it. I cant beat S-8. Ive tried for hours, and i can't do it. So it would be awsome if u could help me out, or give me some advise, or anything that will help me beat it. thanks soooooo much
 
Send me your memory card in a self addressed, postage paid container with a $100 dollar bill, and I'll get you S8.
 
the way i did it was i used the manual trany. if u dont use the manual trany u will spin in 1st and 2nd gear, so use the manual. for every turn that said shift down to like 1st or 2nd, do keep it in 3rd trust me i beat the gold by 2 secs keeping it in 3rd on all those 1st and 2nd gear turns.
 
i know that info has been posted back in teh old school forum days but i never read it cause i never thought i would get there anytime soon, well no is the time, i have completed all but two series that allow my AI liscense(vitz and FF) so if someone knows some good juice on that test i would appreiaciate it

dude yes u can 3rd gear is a very stable gear 1st and 2nd rnt u will spin unless u can actually control the gas perfectly i tried s-8 4 16 hours straight

But enough with the slander.
I really didnt understand if you were telling me to keep it in third or not, so I tried it both ways, and I took like 6 seconds off my time by driving automatic. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, as I have yet to get gold, but I cant keep up with the shifting to maintain a good line.

The assertion that you played S-8 "4" 16 hours straight is hard to believe. Even the most dedicated, lazy fat-asz video gamers in the world don't have an attention span that would let them play that damn thing for 16 hours. If its true, you are a dork, GO OUTSIDE.
 
Damn!! I use automatic trany, :mad: It took me 3 hr to pass the S8. In automatic, I learn not to spin the rear tires. Keep trying you'll get it done!! :D
 
I am 100% done with the game. Took me 3 tries to get the bronze S-8 again after 2 months. The first 2 tries I hit the wall.
All you have to do is match your steering with the gas. The 1/10th of a second you hear the tires spinning, let off the gas. Try tapping the gas button instead of pushing it all down. Steering hard and high power RWD just don't really get along well. But if you control it better, a little tire spin will help you turn. I always use automatic btw.

Be sure that you check out the demo a few times...there you will see what gear to use in the turns, and try to remember the breaking points too..eventually you will get it done..

It might also help to take a break from time to time, if you get really frustrated...:mad: It worked for me...good luck:D
