I realize I might be a little behind the curve here, but I finally completed the S License last night. All bronze, but I'm happy just to have the license. The second hardest test, for me, was Seattle with the GT40 racecar. The hardest was Cote D'Azur.

For anyone who is still trying to medal on Cote D'Azur, I'll share my strategy. Please remember, I only cared about bronze. The key to the course is in the first half. Round the first sharp turn after the start and head up the hill. When you hit the curve at the crest of the hill, you need to be under 13 seconds. Continue around the turn and keep a good line through the 90-degree right that follows it to maintain speed. Your first checkpoint time needs to be under 25.5 seconds. Continue as quickly as possible around the turn after the first check, and thread the hairpin cleanly. This was the trickiest part for me, for some reason. The important thing here, is that when you clear the hairpin, and hit the next two turns, keep an eye on your time. As you hit the long sweeping covered curve along the water, keep an eye on the white wall to your right. The only way I made it under the 1:35 bronze time was when I hit 47 seconds at the halfway point of that wall. I hope that makes sense. From there, just clear that stupid barrier cleanly, and run as quickly as possible through the last sets of curves. I thought everything after the barrier was gravy.

The first thing I did after obtaining the S License was race "Like the Wind" and win the Mazda 787B. I love the sound of that engine.

Good Luck.

Strange but thats exactly the same as me. I found the Cote d'Azur hardest and the GT40 at Seattle the second hardest. I also have all bronze :( .

And the first thing I did was the Like the Wind race.

Once you guys go through the game and go back and beat your old License times you'll find that the S-8 isnt the hardest its actually one of the easiest compared to the GT40, Miata, Tureno, and Speedster those last 3 take forever to get gold on (Speedster, Miata, Tureno)

The thing that made the Miata test even more unbearable was the fact that you ran it after Seattle. Going from the speed, power and responsiveness of the GT40 to the sluggish Miata was horrible. I hated that test, too. I found SS5 wet to be easy in terms of getting the bronze, but I'm sure the gold is tough. My favroite to run was Midfield with the Penzoil Nismo. I really enjoyed that car.

The biggest surprise was how relatively easy it was to get bronze in the SS11, because I've been so frustrated with the stupid Vitz race. A pleasant surprise.
