When I went to livery editor it gave me 2 options for headlight covers, neither are yellow. When I go to the area where wings and diffusers are sold everything is dimmed, there is nothing I can do besides wheels I think. Obviously I must be doing something wrong but I have no idea what it is.
Both my Citroen GTs were switched to yellow lights. Beware the Citroen GT is a thirsty car.
I'm not sure how you are changing to yellow lights on GR3 cars, I checked about a half dozen, Merc, Citroen, Toyota, Ferrari, Ford, etc and I cannot find one that you can go into GT AUTO and change the light bulb color. I also checked Livery Editor and headlight covers can be changed but only with the same color the car came with. Any help would be appreciated. Changing light bulb color on other cars is not a problem but appears to be locked out on GR3 cars.
Yeah I don't make a good IT guy for starters. Especially when I can't see what is going on. This isn't a glitch I've heard of. And then there's the problem. I live in another state. And not even in a neighboring state. No I'm far enough away to be in a different timezone. It's a shorter drive to Atlantic Ocean. Is there not someone you know near by can help?
No. I'm sure it's not a problem with just my version of GT7 or account, maybe I am doing something wrong, heck if I can figure it out though. Where exactly did you go in game to change your headlight color? Was it yellow bulbs or covers you used?
All the Gr.3 cars except for the Honda NSX GT500 '00 you change light covers in the livery editor. Where change windshield banner and running number. The Honda NSX GT500 '00. This car you must change the light bulb instead.
I tried that, they went from white to white. I will try again tomorrow, maybe they were out of yellow. 😁
The reverse layout is a strange course, the pit entrance is on the left (just like the forward direction) and are identical to the forward direction and turn 1 on this layout should be a left hand turn but it is identical to the last hairpin on the forward direction.
Yeah I had to simplify agreement against calling it a reverse layout. Yes 3 turns are shared. The high speed left hander, the hairpin, and the kink immediately after the hairpin. And like you said they ran same direction for both courses. Also the turns on the divided portions of the highway are slightly different radius. The banking angles are different too for water runoff. So left-handed turns have a decent banking while the right-handed turns are more flat or even off camber. Most likely the Counterclockwise has a higher average speed than the clockwise layout. Do more of turns in the back of the course being left-handers. You can definitely carry more speed through them.

Yeah I had a talk with them about it. Apparently they had their inexperienced brother take over driving. I kind of chewed them out about a little. They said it won't happen again. So we will see. I'm generally open to any skill level but, their brother not ready to race against other players.
I figured you got tied up with another car somehow. I watched the replay, it looked like you were driven into on purpose, no braking, no slowing down, just wide open into the corner until he hit you. We were possibly cheated out of what could have been a good battle. I had trouble with the silver Ferrari to when lapping him up, it was like I was being cut off. Had other issues on opening lap with others and also some guys racing me when lapping them (GR3) i just don't understand that, both cars lose time vs just letting the lead car by, if you were fast enough to put up a legitimate fight you wouldn't be getting lapped in the first place. I had absolutely no problem whatsoever with any of the GR4 cars, they were all beyond courteous.
Bro I have never jumped out my rig so fast.. I seriously thought I was in a real accident.. I drive in cockpit view so the view is not so open I never saw it coming. Im just thankful my reflexes are still good at 40 years old! I could have really messed up my hand. Congrats on your win and fast lap!💪🏾 Can’t wait for Yas Marina!
Yea my right thumb got caught in the wheel when I got hit.. I got it out just in time though.. I thought I snapped it bro it was hurting so bad.. trust me I was so mad I couldn’t finish race… I iced it Sat Sun and Mon.. feeling way better so I should be good!💪🏾
Ouch sorry man. I've never thought about the possibility that real world racing injuries could happen in game but, I guess is a steering wheel. I'm also surprised there's no preventive measures. Like having the wheel lock up if the feedback is beyond a certain threshold. Guess that's positive for being too poor to afford a wheel.
Absolutely it would be covered, it's no different than injuring yourself during another past time like playing baseball or cornhole.
There are times where I could see you getting a broken finger or thumb if it's in the wrong place at the wrong time. How much power does your WB have? Mine supposedly has up to 25NM, it has a high torque and a low torque setting, I race with it in low torque at about 75% of its max, I don't like the feeling of a real heavy wheel. There are guys who claim to race at max torque with WB's like mine, thats crazy and doesn't even seem realistic, if you could go 2 hours like that you would be spent.
Yea man there are horrible stories about people breaking fingers or wrist.. I have T-GT-II wheel no more than 6.5 NM I race my with FF at 2 in GT7 setting and still my arm burn after 30 min lol. If I was prepare for the hit I would of been good.. It just caught me off super guard because you don’t expect to get hit like that in league racing… actually I’ve never been hit that hard ever in GT. 😂 My wife asked me why are you icing your hand??😭😭😭
