Really depends on your tires and fuel load at this track. Fuel does have wait. On Hards my best times are around 1:25.5s. On Mediums I'm down to around 1:24.0s. I haven't tested Softs too much because they don't last long enough for race conditions. Oh make to buy wets. Rain is possible for this race.
I typically run 1:15's on RM in a custom race set up like the lobby, been in the 1:13's on about a half tank, thats GR3

Void Survives Two-Hour Tokyo Marathon, Finishes Last, Preserves Car, Somehow

Tokyo, Japan - June 1, 2026

After two grueling hours and nearly 80 laps around the unforgiving streets of Tokyo, Nissan driver Void achieved exactly what most analysts predicted: a last-place finish, complete humiliation, and what sources describe as "significant psychological wear."

The race, however, was not without its highlights.

For a brief period around lap 35, Void found himself engaged in a surprisingly competitive battle with fellow backmarker Wipe-Out. The two drivers exchanged positions multiple times over several laps in what commentators would later describe as "the most exciting fight taking place nowhere near the points."

The duel eventually came to an end when Void succumbed to the inevitable forces of reality, pace, and basic mathematics.

From that point onward, the Nissan driver entered survival mode.

As the race progressed, Void was lapped repeatedly by the leaders. Then by the midfield. Then, according to unofficial timing data, by several cars competing in the same Gr.4 category. At one stage, spectators reportedly began questioning whether his timing screen had frozen.

Sources inside the paddock claim the driver came dangerously close to surrendering to what motorsport psychologists refer to as "The Rage Quit Temptation," a condition characterized by staring at the exit button while contemplating alternative hobbies.

Despite the mounting adversity, Void remained on track until the checkered flag.

This decision may have spared him not only additional embarrassment but also potential scrutiny from sporting authorities, who were reportedly beginning to examine whether driving that slowly could be classified as a moving chicane.

Yet amid the wreckage of expectations, one undeniable success emerged.

The car finished the race in one piece.

For a driver whose recent history includes mechanical disasters, public embarrassment, manufacturer bans, sponsorship losses, and ongoing rumors regarding contractual ritual clauses, simply returning the vehicle on his four wheels may represent meaningful progress.

The performance has also reignited speculation regarding future sponsorship opportunities.

Rumors continue to link the struggling driver to energy drink giant Red Bull, although no evidence currently suggests the company has any interest whatsoever. It remains unclear whether any Red Bull executives, scouts, or marketing personnel watched the race. It is equally unclear whether they would view finishing last by several postal codes as an attractive investment opportunity.

Still, optimists within Void's camp remain hopeful.

"Red Bull sponsors extreme situations," one anonymous supporter noted. "And this certainly qualifies."

Neither Nissan nor Mr. Sparkle representatives commented following the race.

Void himself declined interviews, though witnesses reported seeing him sitting quietly beside his car after the event, staring into the distance as if attempting to calculate how many more races remained in the season.

The answer, unfortunately, is still quite a few.

@Cold Warrior

Thanks for accepting me as a last minute entry to your Event Saturday night. I'm quite active on this Forum and have been keeping on eye on your series for quite some time. It was a rare Saturday night where I had a block of a few free hours that allowed me to race with your group but I enjoyed myself and won't hesitate to jump back in should time allow in the future.

I've raced with @JDMKING13 quite a bit in the past. When saw him in the Gr.3 class, it was an easy decision for me to opt for the Gr.4 class as I can't compete with that guy.

I was happy to grab Pole but my lead didn't last long. At the 30 mark I realized was making some strategic errors that caused me to fall behind. It's by far the longest race I've ever done and I'll learn from my mistakes.

Here's a pic of our Gr.4 grid when the lights when out.

Yeah I wouldn't consider racing Michel-QC_21 an easier option.

Hey guys just 11 days until our race at Le Mans. This Friday is the start of on site activities for the real race. With Friday and most of Saturday is check in for the teams. Followed by a parade with the cars into the city late afternoon Saturday. On track activities start Sunday with practice sessions for both WEC and some of the support series that will race at the track during the week leading up too the big race.

Honestly I thought you did great for such a tough race track. You got your lap times down into the 1:25s by the end of the race. And you had what seemed like a race long battle with ZFS_Miracle_grow.
Yeah, that part was fun. From lap 35 onward, we were even coming in and out of the pits at the same time, until I decided to try something different, see if I could pull away...but didn't work and I paid the price. I guess you can blame it on the strategy...or that's what I'd say to myself to find some comfort.

I give you credit for just being willing to try something different. A track that's difficult to pass. Getting off strategy from your opponents is can be beneficial.

Upcoming Planned Leagues and Activities

2026 Summer Fall League: FormulaCar World Series
This will be a 10 week league. Two 40 minutes ish races each week using the F3500s. I took ideas I liked from F1 and Indy. And threw out the stuff I didn't.

2027 Winter Springs Endurance League: Super GT 2016 Plus
This will be an extended Super GT season using the 2016 cars. I haven't settled on a setup amount of races yet. Will have race length variation.

2027 Summer Fall League: Japanese Kei Car Super Cup
The league focused on the unique class small cars still manufacturer by the Japanese manufacturers. This league will allow more performance that Gran Turismo's own events. I'm also thinking of including some off road races for this league.

Also usually during the summers in past. After the Endurance League is finished. I usually take some time off. However it feels sometimes like people forget about us and we lose members. So I'm going try running some more casual for fun nights during summer when available. There's a few One-Makes idea I would like to do along with a few other ideas.

Oh right I forgot to mention earlier. I'm looking at the 1991 WCS 430km of Autopolis for the 2nd annual Group C Christmas special. Figure 2027 will the year of Japan for us. So I thought it would fit nicely. New drivers who would interested. Look for the 5 older Gr.1 Cars in the Legends Dealer. The Jaguar XJR-9 '88, Mazda 787B '91, Sauber Mercedes C9 '89, Nissan R92CP '92, and Porsche 962C '88. The Porsche is the cheapest and also the easiest to drive.

Void Unveils Unofficial Red Bull Livery Ahead of Le Mans

San José, Costa Rica - May 3, 2026

With only two races remaining in the championship, Nissan driver Void has returned home following a difficult and exhausting weekend in Tokyo.

While attention throughout the paddock has already shifted toward the upcoming round at Le Mans, one question continues to follow the struggling driver wherever he goes:

Who, exactly, is sponsoring him?

The answer, unfortunately for Void, appears to be nobody.

Despite months of racing, public embarrassment, questionable results, and occasional evidence that he is in fact capable of finishing a race, no major sponsor has stepped forward to support the Nissan driver heading into the final stretch of the season.

Faced with this reality, Void appears to have decided that waiting for sponsorship opportunities was no longer a viable strategy.

Instead, sources close to the team report that the driver recently "acquired" a collection of Red Bull vinyl decals and immediately began applying them to his race car in preparation for Le Mans.

The move has generated considerable confusion throughout the paddock.

As of publication, there is no evidence that Red Bull has contacted Void, negotiated with Void, considered contacting Void, or is even aware that Void exists.

Nevertheless, the newly decorated Nissan now carries enough Red Bull branding to convince unsuspecting spectators that a sponsorship deal may have actually happened.

From a distance, the car reportedly looks every bit like a factory-backed endurance contender.

Up close, however, the illusion becomes slightly more complicated.

Industry experts remain divided on the effectiveness of the strategy.

Some believe the additional branding gives the car a more professional appearance and could help attract future sponsors.

Others have described the plan as "manifesting, but with stickers."

Neither Red Bull nor Nissan have issued statements regarding the livery.

Meanwhile, preparations continue for Le Mans, where Void hopes the upgraded appearance of the car will help create the impression of a driver whose career is heading in the right direction.

Whether the decals lead to an actual sponsorship opportunity remains unknown.

For now, Void arrives at Le Mans with a Nissan, a dream, and a marketing strategy that can best be summarized as: if Red Bull won't sponsor the car, perhaps the car can sponsor itself.

Hey guys 8 days until our next race. The league is off this week. However I will on the console tomorrow. I plan to run the last Manufacturers race to maximize the championship payout. Been trying build credits. This new update was announced right after I liquidated my credits to purchase the Porsche 911 GT1 "Road Going Version". Was a great purchase though. It's a wonderful car.

Anyways I suppose could open for a special. Would anyone be interested in a 1 hour Le Mans Race with the Gr.1 class? Since we won't be racing prototypes for the Endurance League this year.

I don't think so Cold.
I'm gonna spend a good part of they day tomorrow editing, so I'll want the evening to play something relaxing and fun.

Maybe. Do you plan to use the regular schedule?
How can you be short on money, don't you do the weekly races and stuff? I'm down to 80 million but whenever I hit 100 million I start loading up on cars, I bought a bunch of cars 2 weeks ago. I am less than 10 cars away from having at least 2 of everything, I just have to wait for them to show up in the used car market or the fancy car thing. I think I only need 1 of the real expensive ones, all the rest I have at least 2 of. For the last 2 or 3 years when new cars are added I buy at least 2 of everything right away, 3 if they have engine swaps so I can have a stocker, a modified one and an engine swap one.

I'm probably going do the 8pm slot Gran Turismo's race first then open up afterwards. So probably won't open until after 9pm. Maybe start around 9:50pm with a short qualifier and then go right into the race.

I share the system with others in the household. I'm only on every other day sort of. We have a whole day trade system for life convenience.

I spend a lot of testing event ideas for future leagues or events. And I also play other games from time to time.

I'm just 10 cars away from having 1 of every car. Until they add new cars that is. Does help though sometimes I buy multiple colors I like for the used or legends only cars.

To those on board for this special. I'm going to do Gran Turismo's Manufacturers 1st for the 8pm time slot. I'll open up after that. Probably after 9pm judging by the length of the thier race and qualifier. I plan to start about 9:50pm with a short qualifier and go right into the race. All times are Eastern US. Any Gr.1 class car. BOP with tuning allowed. Since we are running with the chicanes next week. I do have 1 question. Which Le Mans layout do guys want for this race?

Why have the weekend off to do a special event instead of doing the normal race...that's what.
To do something different. This is a Special time of year for the world of sports car endurance racing. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is sports car racing's Indianapolis and Daytona. The regular league is year is not running prototypes. So I figured why not. I'm aware this is short notice. You don't have to attend if you don't want too.
