Have there's a low mileage 68 Fiat 500 in used. I suggest picking it up if you don't have one stock or can be made stock. I might choose to use it for the slow car request. Cars of this low performance provide a unique experience.

VOID BREAKS HIS SILENCE AFTER MISSING THE SPA ENDURANCE FINALE

By Randy “Full Throttle” Walker | International Motorsport Journal

After mysteriously missing the Endurance Championship finale at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, Void unexpectedly called a press conference earlier today.

Appearing noticeably irritated, the usually outspoken driver walked into the media room with an expression that suggested he had spent the last several days reading comments from fans... only to discover there weren't any.

According to Void, that was precisely the problem.

"Not a single message. Not one phone call. Nobody asked where I was. I disappear before the biggest race of the season and everyone's just... okay with it? That's cold, man."
For weeks, speculation surrounded photographs showing Void in Germany. Most assumed he was simply attending Mercedes-AMG commitments after publicly announcing his partnership with the manufacturer for the Spa event.

That assumption, it turns out, was only half the story.

After taking a long pause, Void finally revealed the real reason behind his disappearance.

"Yeah... I was in Germany. But I wasn't hiding at Mercedes."
The room immediately fell silent.

"I was secretly training with Porsche."
According to Void, he had spent days running private simulator sessions with Porsche engineers, preparing an unexpected switch to the Porsche 911 GT3 R for the championship finale.

The surprise didn't stop there.

He also revealed that he had spent several days designing what he described as "the coolest livery I've ever made."

The plan was simple.

Show up at Spa.

Shock everyone.

Steal the headlines.

Unfortunately...

Reality had other plans.

"Turns out nobody cared I wasn't there..."
Another pause.

"...and then HALF THE DAMN GRID SHOWED UP IN THAT PORSCHE!"
Void buried his face in his hands as laughter erupted throughout the press room.

"Seriously? I spend days planning this big reveal... and apparently every other driver woke up with exactly the same brilliant idea."
When asked whether he still planned to unveil the custom livery in the future, his response was short.

"Maybe. Right now I'm too annoyed to even look at it."

Looking Ahead

Despite the disappointing end to the championship, Void made it clear that he has no intention of disappearing from sim racing.

Instead, his focus has shifted toward building his own championship.

"If there's another Endurance season, I'll be back."
"And trust me... I'll remember who forgot I existed."
For now, however, his full attention is on launching No Grip Society, a brand-new Supercars league that he hopes will become one of the premier online championships for Gran Turismo 7 drivers.

As the conference was wrapping up, one final reporter raised his hand.

"So... any thoughts on Cold Warrior's Gr.1 race this weekend?"

Void blinked.

There was an awkward silence.

Then he looked around the room.

"Wait..."
Another pause.

"There's a race this weekend?!"
More silence.

"Well... ****."
He shrugged.

"We'll see."
With that, Void stood up, thanked nobody in particular, and walked out of the room, leaving the assembled reporters with more questions than answers... and the lingering suspicion that he still hadn't checked the racing calendar.

Hold up the tuna boat there, Buddy. I was following all of your postings but I also missed the Spa race, I fell asleep. I was up working in the shop until 2am Friday finishing a set of headers for a customer and back at it again Saturday at 7am. Delivered the car on time. Then had a social engagement, left in plenty of time to race but my eyelids got heavy. Just so you know, I had also planned to run the Porsche, but not the new one, the old RSR. I think its faster, at least in my hands it is, plus I don't like the way the new one sounds, I cant listen to that for 2 hours. So there is that. And you still didnt explain your reason for missing the race, only the emotional affects post race.

Man your picky with car sound. I personally prioritize car performance and how well I suit with the car. I actually do prefer the older Porsche GT3 as well. But even with the road cars I prefer 991 chassis over 992.

I have a Bose 6.1 surround sound, that new Porsche sound is intolerable.

I had to look up what that is. What kind of high tech setup do you have over there. I'm just using my TV speakers.
Just a tv and the surround sound system. We got a surround sound a long time ago, it sounds so much better than the TV speakers that I can't go back to TV speakers. When the system before this failed I couldn't even watch TV for a few days, until we got a new system. I have been thinking about putting an Buttkicker system on my rig since covid, just never got around to it, I should really get with that.

Sounds like "Full Throttle" Walker needs to step up his journalistic game. Maybe he should stop nosing around my business only, and start following the rest of the grid! I'll have to have a word with him. After all, he is part of the VOID//MEDIA conglomerate

And as of me missing the race...um, a family late lunch got in the way. I really didn't want to go but you can't just say no to a free meal!

Yeah, that happens, sometimes life gets in the way of our racing.

My dear friends, you are all cordially invited to the official launch of No Grip Society Racing League.
If you want some quick and easy satisfaction 😳 join us for a race or two, maybe you will like it.
30 minutes races Thursday nights. There will be snacks.

Either way, see you there or this saturday in the Gr.1's!

International Motorsport Journal launches an investigation into what may be the most disturbing revelations in modern sim racing.

By Randy “Full Throttle” Walker / International Motorsport Journal

For months, the Saturday Night Endurance League, organized by the mysterious commissioner known only as Cold Warrior, had earned a reputation as one of the cleanest, most competitive endurance championships in Gran Turismo 7.

Respectful racing. Professional organization. Close battles.

What nobody expected...

...was that the entire operation might secretly be connected to vampirean clans, extraterrestrial life, cryptozoology, and possibly time travel.
Randy: On a scale from 1 to 10, why are you?

Cold Warrior: I don't quite understand the question. Do you mean "why are you running this league?"

Randy: Sir, please don't be difficult. It's a yes or no question.

Moving forward, we were informed you plan to run a special event this weekend. So, what I would like to know is: what is your breakfats routine?
Instead of questioning why one of the world's premier motorsport journalists had suddenly become obsessed with breakfast, Cold Warrior calmly answered.
Cold Warrior: Sleeping or I guess trying to sleep is more accurate. I voluntarily live the schedule of a vampire. Rarely I am up during traditional breakfast hours. Though I suffer from insomnia on almost a nightly basis. So I guess definitely sleeping.
Fresh off a dominant championship victory, JDMKING13 expected questions about racecraft.

Instead…
Randy: You just didn't casually win the title. You beat everyone to a pulp. I almost feel sorry for the rest of the grid. What I would like to know is, what is your breakfats routine?

JDMKING13: Good afternoon my friend, and thank you for the kind words. I really enjoyed Cold's 2 hour endurance series. You don’t get that type of racing in the dailies and I am a huge fan of endurance racing.

The driving grid was a cool bunch and it was nice to see other battles throughout the season. Big shout out to Notarjy for being consistent and showing up to secure P2! I’ve told the grid anytime someone wants to get faster I have no problem helping.

As for me, while I am fast I am not where I wanna be. I am still 2 seconds off pace of the top guys in the world. I am trying to get it down to at least 1 second, but with kids and work competitive seat time is scarce.

As for breakfast routine I have none... I drink a Ghost energy drink in the A.M., followed by a couple of PB & J sandwiches.
The reigning champion revealed a diet consisting primarily of Ghost Energy drinks and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

Sports nutritionists worldwide immediately resigned.

When asked about his extraordinary pace, JDMKING13 insisted he was still two seconds slower than the world's elite.

This statement raised serious concerns.

If he believes he's slow… Who exactly are the people he's chasing?

Second-place finisher notarjy was then asked one of the most important scientific questions of our generation.

Randy: You finished in the second step of the podium. I would like to know, what are your thoughts on extraterrestrial life?
Without hesitation...
notrajy: Aliens definitely exist, I have seen them first hand on the race track on Saturday nights!

Randy: Very interesting, but in the parlance of our times, pics or didn't happen, as the younglings would say. And actually, it was a two part question, good sir. Part 2 is, what are your hopes and dreams regarding a possible new Endurance season on the horizon?

notarjy: Generally I am open to any racing, our commissioner seems to have a good sense for what will be fun to run. As for your alien investigation, I suggest reaching out to JDMking, haha.

Randy: Actually, it was a three part question. On a scale of 1 to 10, what is your morning breakfats routine?

notrajy: I would have to say a 7, in that I generally try to eat breakfast 7 times a week, though sometimes this is not entirely successful.
No photographs were produced. Instead, notarjy pointed investigators toward JDMKING13.

A development that would prove extremely significant.

Confronted directly with allegations of extraterrestrial involvement, JDMKING13 remained remarkably calm.
Randy: Sir, excuse me, sir. But new **** has come to light, to use the parlance of our times. It has been made of my knowledge that you possess certain information regarding interplanetary alien activities going on during the races? What do you have to say about that, sir?

JDMKING13: I’m far from alien territory, I’ve seen glimpses of the unknown verse but never residing. It's a place I dare to get to in the future though... stay tuned.
Excuse me.

The what?

The unknown verse?

Walker later admitted this was the exact moment he began questioning every career decision that had led him to this assignment.

Third-place finisher, fastone371, appeared perfectly normal, but...
Randy: You finished the championship in the third step of the podium, congratulations for such an achievement. My question to you is, with a potential new Endurance season far in the horizon, how do you sleep at night?

fastone371: I sleep like a baby!!!!! I wake every 2 hours and want to be fed.

Randy: Holy frijoles! Every interview I conduct keeps unraveling a mystery behind another! Interplanetary alien activities, vampirean clans operating in the shadows behind the scenes and now a real life case of Benjamin Buttons!

So, in regards to your statement, sir, what I would like to follow up with is, what pushes your buttons?

fastone371: The fact that Bigfoot exists and that we just can't simply get a decent photo of him and his family.

Randy: Ok, sir, but what does that have to do with racing!?

fastone371: I like to win.
For approximately three seconds, this investigation resembled an actual motorsport interview.

Gr.4 champion Michel, known throughout the paddock as "The Canadian Destroyer", admitted without remorse that he had dismantled the competition.
Randy: You dominated the Gr.4 class, I almost feel sorry for the rest of the grid. So my question to you is, are you not ashamed to put these poor guys through this amount of psychological abuse?

Michel: Not at all.
Cold Warrior was later confronted with another serious allegation.

Human Resources had reportedly received anonymous complaints claiming that organizing four consecutive Gr.1 races across four different circuits constituted psychological abuse.

The commissioner remained unmoved.
Randy: New **** has come to light. Sir, it has been made of my knowledge that some interplanetary alien activities happen during your League activities. Said activity is actively confirmed with your revelation about vampirean activity activities, as well.

So I guess what we all want to know is: what the hell, man?

Also, we have learned you are promoting a Gr.1 class race this weekend in 4 different tracks one after another. Someone at the HR department is deeply concerned with this and has said, I quote, you are inflicting psychological pain to your members. What do you have to say about that, sir?

And, to use the parlance of our times as the younglings say, what are your hopes and dreams regarding a new Endurance Season in the horizon, and is said horizon upon us or is it in a galaxy far, far away?

Cold Warrior: This won't be the most grueling event of the year. And I was originally going to run 6 shorter races. So players can run each car once if they wish. But felt it was hollow representation of what these cars are built for. It still is but, less so. And I'll be amazed if anyone else besides me runs all 4 races.

The flagship sports car racing focused endurance league will return in January. The 2027 season will spotlight the most popular racing series in Japan currently known as Super GT. It will be an extended season using the 2016 cars. In what if the series had a more international presence.
Despite the supernatural revelations, Cold Warrior confirmed that the Saturday Night Endurance League will return.

January 2027.

The spotlight will shift toward Super GT, featuring the 2016 machines in an alternate-history championship imagining the series with a greater international presence.

At least, that's the official plan.

Assuming the vampires approve.

As the interview concluded, Cold Warrior unexpectedly looked directly at yours truly and said:
Cold Warrior: Thank you for your time John Hammond. I think a dinosaur themed amusement park is a terrible idea.
I'm pretty sure there is a song about that. I recommend you do not listen to it.

After interviewing every major figure inside the Saturday Night Endurance League, our investigative team has reached the following evidence-based conclusions:
  • The commissioner voluntarily keeps vampire hours.
  • Aliens have allegedly been observed racing on Saturday nights.
  • One championship contender has seen "the unknown verse."
  • Another competitor appears to be aging backwards.
  • Bigfoot remains frustratingly difficult to photograph.
  • Four consecutive Gr.1 races are apparently considered merciful compared to the original plan.
  • Nobody knows why Randy kept asking about breakfast.
  • Void still doesn't have a girlfriend and he will die alone and depressed.
At the time of publication, none of these findings have been disproven.

Wow.
WTF, man? Was it really necessary to say I'll die alone and depressed, instead of being interviewed like the rest!? I mean, yes it's true but damn, dude.

And 2017!? Sheesh Cold, the world could end in 2 minutes and you're telling me there won't be another Endurance championship until 6 months from now?!

It's only four 25 minutes races. You'll get almost a half hour break between race. Just wait for the 430 km of Autopolis with the Group C cars planned for December.

Funny you mention about aliens. The alien abductions problem around Mount Panorama is the reason given why Australia didn't make the schedule for the FormulaCar World Series.

My own conclusion for Bigfoot thing leads me 2 answers. Answer 1: Bigfoot is a real undiscovered species and we don't this planet as well as we like to think we do. Answer 2: In case Bigfoot is not real. And every sighting is just someone in a costume. Then I would claim the Bigfoot hoax as the greatest prank in human history. A prank that then has existed for centuries, gotten introverts to camp in a forest days, and has crossed international boarders and oceans.

Wow.

I think you mean 2027. GT7 doesn't exist yet in 2017 and I didn't even join this site until April of 2018. Next league starts August 22nd. The FormulaCar World Series.

Will hopefully make the first race tomorrow, going to Boston to see the tall ships and due to how the security works we cannot drive out until after 6pm
I unfortunately can't hold races operating on a schedule like this. And we're going right into the race after qualifying.

The 3 minute qualifier will allow for only 1 timed lap for the first 3 tracks. You can get 2 in for Road Atlanta if you leave earlier enough. We are going to do the stock 1968 Fiat 500 one makes next week July 18th. As for the 25th. Provided I'm available for birthday. I don't have an idea for that day yet. I know we're not international popular at the moment. I would like to do something to celebrate 250th Anniversary for the US.
