This sucker is tough with the new look Suzuka

So far I'm at 39 golds and 1 silver and this one is the Silver to stop me from getting a full set of S license golds

I have had the game since Friday afternoon so I think I'm doing ok so far but I ran this S10 for a good 40 mins before bed last night and I think its a great test but damn its tricky! .... anyone else find this one hard?

Oh yeah ran one lap at Valencia in challenge mode and won the best Ninja on my first lap

Cool game so far ... cant wait to get this last gold and hit the game properly

Yep, Suzuka is one hard track, especially because of the last chicane. I suggest you don't lean (L2) when taking that chicane, because you'll probably fall.

I suggest you make a good lap (Doesn't need to be perfect), then check the demonstration and try to see where you lose time. I have yet to gold this one too...

Hey Mr. P, how's it going?

I completed my 40 golds last night with S-10.

My split times were 57.851, 1'47.025, with a final time of 2'12.209.

The final chicane is obviously a tough one. Watching my replay, I think I nailed it pretty well. (I gained about 0.4 seconds on the demo in the final sector.) Unfortunately, I'm not sure I have any real tips on that. I took it in 2nd gear most of the way, but dropped down to 1st gear for about a second after clearing the 2nd apex. Not sure if that was necessary, but it worked out okay.

One thing I found that helped me -- at first, I was shifting in the esses in the early part of the circuit. But I found that sticking to 3rd gear through the entire main part of the esses gave me significantly better T1 times. You might also figure that out by watching the demo, but I'm a stubborn type, and I didn't watch any demos until after I had golded the tests, so I figured it out on my own.


But if I can manage to gold this one in fairly short time, I'm sure you can. I ended up with the gold, by a margin of about 1.3 seconds, on only my 6th completed lap. Of course, that's probably 40-50 actual attempts, of which I probably wasted a dozen in the final chicane alone.

Hi JB long time no see

I managed to get this golded today after going back, It was the amount of play last night and that test was the last one I done and by far the toughest .... seemed simple enough today ...

also the manufacturers tests are so easy its a shame because its really wrecking the gameplay to be honest 99% get beat on first attempt and it's usually only SSR5 and the tunnel judgement will get a 1st attempt error

I also tried the 7 lapper laguna race in the TT trophy event earlier and even the red tyres are not really a problem either it seems, its an ok game but just too easy I feel now

Should be better when the masses get it and it goes OLR bigtime then we will find some level of competition I suppose
