I'm looking into buying/building one of the two...my only issue is that my file was destroyed and I am no longer an endlessly rich mofo. I've recently completed my liscense tests and own a few FD3's...one for drifting, one for circuit.
I have about 52k, and money isn't that hard to come across, so what I'm looking for is performance-based, not price-based opinions. The reason I don't just go out and build one and try it is this: I'm fickle when it comes to learning a new car's flow. It takes me forever to get used to it not handling like the last car I had, learning it's gearing again, etcetera etcetera. So you see, I'd rather just go with what the majority finds to be the most practical and start assimilating myself to it right away. ^^
The info I seek is based on the positive and negative performances of the two vehicles under certain stipulations. These stipulations are:
The cars: S13 Silvia 2000cc k's, S15 Silvia (not the Varietta)
1: Manual transmission
2: DualShock2 Controller (my GTForce was stolen last year)
3: Simulation tires
4: Keep it in the 300-360 horsepower range
5: Midfield II, Tokyo R246, and Trial Mountain as the test grounds
Aside from the tire requirements and the horepower limit, please feel free to tune them however you wish.
An example of helpful information would be:
I thank any willing participants in advance for your help and feedback. While I await replies, I'll be building up my tuning fund. ^__^
On a closing note, I've been in and out of GT3 hundreds of times. I've toyed with so many different setups that now I'm curious to see what others would suggest. I'm all about checking it out for myself, and I would, but this is sort of a way to entertain myself while I wait for GT4 and rebuild my lost garage.

ExampleThe S13 can maintain a solid throttle feed through turn 3 at Mifield II, wheras the S15 has severe issues with oversteer when attempting the same.
