S14 Question

My freind and I are in a debate about S14s. Does anyone know about the two generations and their aesthetic traits? There is a slanted headlight S14 in the U.S, no? It looks almost like an S15, and he says it is. I think it is an S14.
Thank you kindly.

All 95-98 240sx's or Silvias are S14's. S14 is simply the chassis code (or part of it). The 95-96 model has the rounded headlights and mostly red taillights. The 97-98 model has slanted headlights and mostly black taillights. They're BOTH S14's.

Just to add on to the previous post, the earlier style, with the rounded lights, is often referred to as the Zenki, and the later model, the Kouki. (Zenki meaning earliest and kouki meaning latest. You will hear Chuuki refferred to when talking about S13s, BTW, that refers to the middle generation of the 13)

The Kouki talis are also recognizable by the fact that they have three horizoinal lines/depressions/strakes/whatever molded into them.

cuz i said so
think its cuz 240sx's didnt sell that much here, i mean they are RWD cars, but a little underpowered.
mine isnt too fast but once i go on overdrive....ive hit 120mph in my bone stock 240sx
and yea its an auto, i also got it for $8,500
:mischievous:

not if u use overdrive on a automatic.
when the car is fully paid off, im 5 speed swapping and turbo.

i went over 115 when racing a 200? 3 series bmw, by the time i slowed down he was a blur in my rear view
i know if he would have caught up, but i had to make my exit to work :)
