What does "gtp registration required" mean? :boggled:

GTP = GTPlanet. I have this same thread duplicated on Playstation.com forums. Because your replay files is hosted from here and it requires an account to DL it.

I'll update the scorboard. We just had a guy pull a 6'45 on the PS forums :(

So wait, is this in arcade mode or GT mode, and what mods or tweaks are allowed on the car?

Its very vague and open ended, you realize that?

Way not to answer my question.

I'm going to assume its a fully modded S2000, GT mode. You don't say that. Go look at how the WRS is run and you'll understand why your rules are vague.

id also like to give it a run but unsure bouta few things. 1- asuming its gt mode, can we do a na tune, racing chip, weight reduction ect? 2- does standard olr rules apply. keeping 2 wheels on road at all times. 3- the deadline? 4- what is initial d style?

Don't compete if you don't know what it is. lol

THERE ARE ONLY 3 RESTRICTIONS! READDDDDDDDD

If you want to run arcade mode and get a terrible time with quick tune then go for it.

Do you want people to actually do this, or do you just want to alienate them and look like an ass? Serious question, because at the moment you are achieving the latter.

Does the "Initial D" style rules restrict cutting across grass and stuff? Must of us here are use to 2 wheels on the track/rumble at all times, no wall contacts, et cetera.

After a lap I managed so low 7 minute with spin outs and crap. I can easily see a low 6'50 after spending more than 15 minutes on this, but I am seriously losing interest because you fail to clarify anything at all.

Yeah, Azureman is right. "Initial D Style" means nothing.

Besides, if you hit walls in the Initial D game, you are heavily penalized.

Yeh, I never understood that. They didn't do very well with the concept of the series when they made the game.

Well, lets think about how many times they hit the walls in Initial D... to go faster.

Oh wait, still thinking...

1 time when racing the EG-6 in the gum tape match...

And...

Where God Hand boucned his S2000 off a tree.

Yeah, lots of times they ride the wall to faster

Seriously dude, explain the rules to your "Initial D" race, because right now, I am working on running a clean run. They don't cut the grass in the Initial D, wall ride, or such. They at most drop two tires in the grass, et cetera, which are more derived from tarmac rally racing.

You just don't get it do you. Why do they loose in battle's in Initial D. They slip up, pull wide, bump the wall, loose control. **** HAPPENS. Just because you loose control doesn't mean you can't submit your time. DERP

If you don't like it. Go away. I don't have time for consistent peckers.

Which means only an idiot would submit a time where they slipped up like that.

And you don't seem to have time for people that are trying to make this whole thing clear to other people that are interested? You disregard legitimate questions about what you are trying to run here, act like a know it all, and then still don't answer the actual questions. So I'll make it a simple list -

Is wall riding allowed?

Is putting 4 wheels in the grass to cut a corner allowed?

You're something else. You have the power to have made things a hell of a lot easier. Stop being such a brat.

He didn't do anything wrong. You're the one getting all pissy about it.

With a 6'57 I'm proud to say I'm trying my hardest and I am slipping multiple times and getting all 4 wheels in the grass. The rule's are what they are. Use them to your advantage. That's that.

The rule's are what they are. Use them to your advantage. That's that.
So, if you can do what you like, why do you need to show proof?

Are hybrids allowed too?

The rule's are what they are. Use them to your advantage. That's that.

But you haven't explained the rules! If I decide to say, for instance, "I can't be stuffed driving around this chicane , I'll just straight line it" and turn the chicane into a grey and green straight, am I breaking the rules? Or is that allowed?

Make sense damn you!

[EDIT]
Damn you daan! Making me quote!

Do I really need to answer that. lol

Ok..... Let me know if this makes sense.

If I say "NO NITROUS" that means no nitrous rite? Or does that mean nitrous is allowed???? Do the ****ing math for christ ****ing sakes.

Do I really need to answer that. lol
Yes, actually, you do

Yes, that specific rule makes sense. BUT, that seems to be the only rule eside from the car and tyre restrictions.

For those of us who have never even seen an Initial D machine, let alone played it, please make it clear.

I'll say it slowly for you

please...explain...the...rules...clearly... and...stop...being...an...arse...about...it

Um, no ****? You just said these things:

Rules:

1: That car MUST be: "Honda S2000 Type V '03"
2: Tires MUST be S3(Sport Soft)
3: NO NITROUS!!!!!!!
4: This is Initial D style, feel free to hop that gutter?!

The rule's are what they are. Use them to your advantage. That's that.

You should be completely clear about the rules, what's allowed and what's not... and not throwing a tantrum about it.
