I just had to share this with someone who would care, and I figured you guys would get a kick out of it.

2004 Honda S2000 CONVERTIBLE
If you're looking for a one-owner vehicle, this vehicle is for you This vehicle has been verified and sworn to having the correct mileage. Clean smell throughout, appears to have never been smoked in. This vehicle's body does not have any damage at all or any signs of repaired body damage. The exterior looks to be in mint condition. It is obvious that the owner babied this vehicle - not a ding on it. The paint on this vehicle makes it obvious that the owner garaged it. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. The engine runs like a dream. This vehicle has every option in it working properly. Take this vehicle home now, it needs nothing but tender, loving care. The care of this auto has been well maintained, and its extra clean exterior is all the proof you need. New vehicle smell is just the beginning to describe this interior, not to mention its mint condition. The tires are brand new and ready to roll!!!!

And then they include this picture ...

I'm assuming the photographer and the copy writer didn't get together before they send the info to the oblivous web master.

That's too damn funny. Idiots.

Reminds me of the F4i me and my Dad went to buy. Supposedly perfect - never dropped/layed down. It looked like it had been wrecked at 70mph, and then ran over by a damn 18 wheeler.

Gotta love eBay motors, and autotrader for their ridiculous ads sometimes.

 at both.

You can see it, right there, under the headlamp. I'd send them an e-mail.

Speaking of S2000s, I'm proud to say something very, very similar to this will be gracing my driveway next summer. Not that one, obviously, but very close.

Wow, I didn't even notice it there. I just thought it was funny they included an image of damage and said there was none. I looked at a couple more of their auto listings and their text appears very 'cookie cutter'.

So, Summer 2004, or Summer 2005? I'm going to shoot for April 2004 to purchase a new one. I'm digging black. It's actually a rare color for the car, nearly as I can tell.

A lady at work bought a BMW 3 series convertable from ebay. We all thought she was loony, but the car is actually really nice, and she got a pretty good buy on it too. Had to go to Florida to pick it up, but woo ... that's a hard life ...

There's a lot of people who do that, they have a sort of template for every auction they put up. Most of the time they change the name of the car, the mileage and the year, but the main part of the text is the same from auction to auction. I wouldn't trust a guy named Buster-Bub (that's the name of the guy selling that yellow one) who's also selling a 2002 S-Class Benz for 51k... :odd:

And yep, it should be this summer. I'm going with black, because it's much more invisible than red. Besides, i don't like white and silver on an S2000.

I like the Silverstone Metalic (darker gray) but there are a few of those around here. I've only seen a couple black ones.

 That is extremely bad for business to say it is in perfect condition and then show a picture with clear evidence of damage. These guys deserve a cookie.
