s2000 Short Series Round 1

Short Sprint at Mid-Field II Raceway

A standing start from the pole position grid slot to the second sector of midfield 2 raceway. This round will take place in arcade mode free run.

Drivers please post which S2000 you intend to use for this race and the modifications carried out to it (remember the weedy 302 hp limit)

Please submit your times via PM before midnight on the 10th August.

Graveltrap, you do know that after a little driving your horsepower does raise by a small percentage right ? Anyways, I am going to start out and see what I can get here, Unsure about the car right now, My Black S2000 type-v Is calling my name, but the beautiful yellow Mugen is standing out in my eyes

Snap! didnt know this was starting. I'll have to see what i can do w/ this....I think i burned myself out w/ the zonda this week, havent had much drive to play gt3 lately. haha. hey miata, i'd save the mugen for a race thats a little more invovled, remember, if you use it now you cant use it again for the rest of the series

yes Miata but it also weighs a little bit more (1121kg).....everyone is going to have the running in thing with the Type V.......it can't be avoided ......think it's going to max out at 310bhp P/W 3.616

havent touched this yet, been too busy w/ other racing...i better find some time to get on this soon. ive got the official weekly race, this one, and soon Miata's mildbrid races once those start....i think i better quit my job. hehe

Oh, and gravel, what youre saying about the type v is, that we can tune it to 302hp BEFORE the break in and let it break in and gain more HP while we're racing?

thats right IDAFC21 I've tried it with a full broken in type V and a spoon....beat the type V time after 5 goes with the spoon.....

As I've now got involved with the weekly race series I think I'll extend this race to 2 weeks duration times due midnight 17 August 2003

this round i chose the spoon s2000 w/ port & polish = 302hp/9000rpm and p/w 3.642

It was only a few runs, but hopefully i'll have enough energy after work tonight to get a more in
