I know quite a few people were saying omg look how fast the veyron is Imagine how fast the S7 TT must be then. Well the answer... Fast but not as fast as a veyron.

During veyron presentation and showing off to potential customers a saleen TT with 1000hp was there for comparison and to show off what the car was really capable of compared to other 1000hp cars.

But seeing as all veyrons are pretty much accounted for this car will still be the current productiont horsepower dady.

And the source? Did they actually top speed test the S7TT? Or was everything just estimated?

I think I saw a video of this somewhere, the Veyron flew away followed by a *beep* that's fast. I can't confirm 100% but it was a similar setup one supercar taking on the veyron for comparison, I'd need to try and find it again and identify the car the camera was in.

Tbh I don't see anything matching the Veyron's acceleration. The top speed can be done, but you might need very specialised tyre's to do it. Remember also, the Veyron is electronically limited to 252mph, it would keep accelerating but they hadn't done enough testing above that speed with the tyre's and didn't want any accident's when a customer did a top speed run.

No they're not. You need a 350,000usd down payment to make an order for one, but there's no real "limit" per say to them.

Technically the Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo is more powerful in the United States as the Bugatti Veyron lost a few ponies when it was tested under SAE American specifications. I believe the final number was in the neighborhood of 990HP, so the S7 at 1000HP has it beat... So sad!

Car and Driver had said earlier that the S7 TT, assuming it was equipped with the same gearset as the "stock" S7, would run out of speed around 225MPH once the car reaches redline. That would make it the fastest American production car, and one of the fastest street cars in the world, but not nearly as fast as the Bugatti.

^Yeah, below is why I don't think it stands a chance... :scared:
