Saab 900 Carlsson as with every Saab is designed from thr inside. The Carlsson was a special edition 900 made in honour of Erik Carlsson, of which only 600 examples were made in the three years it was in production (1990 to 1992). It is thought by most that there were only 200 examples made but in fact there were 200 examples made for each of those three years.
So it would be more likely that there are 200 examples of each of the three colours, which were, Black, White and Red.
All 900 Carlssons were 3-door hatchbacks, had a body coloured AirFlow body kit, were fitted with twin chrome exhausts, and were powered by the 1985 cc turbocharged engine with an upgraded (Red) APC giving 185 bhp (138 kW; 188 PS) . The 900 Carlsson was also equipped with the “Number 8” primary gear set.
Starting at the seat fitted in plush velour, driver will notice the controls and instruments have been carefully positioned in the driver’s field of vision for fast reading thus enabling the driver react quickly.
